Research On Cultural Value And Modern Transformation Of Raw Lacquer In Lichuan Maoba

Dam Lacquer is one of the famous raw lacquer varieties in southwest Hubei,which is a precious gift from nature to human beings,and also the creation of civilization and wisdom left by ancestors through hard work of generations.Located in Wuling Mountain area,it is the intersection of Jingchu Culture and Bashu Culture.Dam Lacquer Culture not only inherits the flying romantic Chu style,but also is influenced by the bold and unrestrained Bashu Culture,and also integrates the unique folk beliefs of the local people.Dam Lacquer has a long history,excellent quality,and occupies an important position in the field of raw lacquer.It has created a lot of foreign exchange and wealth for the local government and people,and is a name card that the local people are proud of.However,the development of Dam Lacquer industry is worrying because of the change of The Times,and its modern transformation needs the joint efforts and exploration of local people,academia and industry.This paper aims to construct the concept of “Dam Lacquer Culture” on the basis of the description of Dam Lacquer production,craft making and folk culture,and then discuss the cultural industry of Dam Lacquer.Based on the field investigation and analysis of the history and current situation of this industry,the modern transformation road of Dam Lacquer industry with traditional national culture characteristics is explored.This paper consists of six chapters,classifying three parts:Introduction,Texts and Conclusion.The first chapter is the introduction,including the background,research status,research purpose and significance,main research methods,as well as the definition and explanation of the basic concept of “ Dam Lacquer ”.The second chapter to the fifth chapter is the body part,including the main research contents and the core point of view.The second chapter discusses the production background of Dam Lacquer from three aspects: ecological environment,development foundation and historical evolution.The third chapter discusses the regional culture of Dam Lacquer from the aspects of historical culture,craft culture,folk custom beliefs and life concepts.The fourth chapter discusses the development of the Dam Lacquer industry,and makes an in-depth analysis of the cultural ecology,industrial inheritance and decline,process transmutation of the Dam Lacquer industry,and on this basis,puts forward the feasibility of the modern transformation of the Dam Lacquer industry.The fifth chapter,based on the previous analysis,provides solutions for the transformation and development of the Dam Lacquer industry on the basis of the cultural value of the Dam Lacquer,namely focusing on the inheritance of skills,the creation of dynamic development space,the optimization of brand and product,the renewal of marketing methods and other aspects.Chapter six is the conclusion,which summarizes the development and transformation opportunities of the Dam Lacquer industry.To fully cherish the historical opportunity of intangible cultural heritage protection and revitalization of rural traditional handicraft,make full use of existing good foundation of Dam Lacquer industry,combined with cultural creativity and design,expand the Dam Lacquer culture of living space,explore feasible way for the Chinese lacquer culture heritage,and also give impetus to local development and benefit to the public.
