Water resource is important for both economy development and our daily life. However, the discharge of untreated organic wastewater poses a great threat to the ecological environment.Adsorption method has shown a strong practical performance in the field of sewage purification.Previous studies from our research group confirmed that polyacrylonitrile fibers as an organic carrier showed great potential in adsorbing pollutants in sewage.Firstly, four oxadiazole derivatives were synthesized and grafted onto1,3-propanediamine aminated fibers by nucleophilic substitution reaction.Four kinds of fibers containing different oxadiazole functional groups were prepared, labeled as PANF-1,PANF-2,PANF-3 and PANF-4,respectively.Some of the fibers were systematically characterized by SEM,EA and FTIR.The results showed that oxadiazoles were successfully grafted onto the aminated fibers, and the fibers could maintain the integrity of their surface structure.Subsequently,in this thesis the adsorption performance of functionated fibers to organic pollutants were explored.(1)The adsorption capacity of aminated fibers and the above four fibers for catechol, resorcinol and hydroquinone was determined. The results showed that aminated fibers had good adsorption to three phenols;PANF-4 only had adsorption effect on hydroquinone, but did not adsorb catechol and resorcinol;PANF-2 had better adsorption ability on hydroquinone than catechol and resorcinol;PANF-3 had better adsorption ability on resorcinol than catechol and resorcinol;PANF-1 had almost no adsorption on three phenols.(2)The adsorption capacity of aminated fibers and four oxadiazole functionalized fibers for methyl orange in sulfonates was determined. The adsorption capacities of aminated fibers,PANF-1,PANF-2 and PANF-3 on 2-naphthalene sulfonic acid and H acid were determined. The results showed that the adsorption capacity of PANF-1 was stronger than that of aminated fibers, and the introduction of nitro group in benzene weakened the adsorption of sulfonic acid to a certain extent.
