With the improvement of modern science and technology,processing industry developing constantly,the automation of drum type strip is realized in production.Because of various reasons,the drum materials appears strip off the basic line in practical production line,called strip running deviation.Thus the quality of the products is affected,and therefore a set of device which can detect and control the strip automatically is designed to solve the problem of strip deviation.In this paper,in view of the above situation,a variety of detection methods are analyzed.A position sensor is designed to solve the problem of detecting the edge information which based on a CMOS image sensor,with the STM32 series ARM chip as the core of the microprocessor detecting system,sequential control is provided by FPGA to the sensor.The image information is detected by the sensor for data processing,then the point of the strip information is obtained.The results are transmitted by RS485 and conducted through the Ethernet to PC.The purpose is to configure.parameters and display images.This article describes the overall scheme about the design for the strip detection device based on image sensor device,mainly includes the detection module,serial communication module,data processing module,network transmission module and so on.The strip position is detected based on the system,finally,debug and certificate the system through the experiments,the results show that the system precision meets the requirements and achieves the desired purpose.
