With the continuous development of modern science and technology,deep hole machining technology is needed for many parts with high precision and complex structure.This paper focuses on the processing stability,the processing morphology of the orifice and the inner wall of the orifice,the material removal rate,the tube electrode wear rate and other basic problems in the processing of deep hole,and puts forward the machining method of deep hole with multi-point flexible supporting tube electrode.This paper is summarized as follows:This paper first discusses the related theories of tube electrode EDM,including the basic principle of EDM,the characteristics of EDM,the conditions of realizing EDM and the working mechanism of EDM.The theory of deep hole machining with multi-point flexible support tube electrode is discussed and the function of flexible support is described.The operation process,technical parameters and application range of EDM experimental equipment are described.The tool electrode for EDM discharge uses a tube electrode with a side-wall open array hole.The simulation results show that the flow velocity in the machining clearance fluid domain is faster,and the distribution of corrosion products in the interelectrode gap of different tube electrodes indicates that the side-wall open-array tube electrode is more favorable for working fluid,machining products and heat discharge out of the hole during the machining of EDM hole.At the same time,the influence of different inlet pressure and machining depth on the vibration amplitude of tool electrode is analyzed through fluid-solid coupling calculation.With the increasing of inlet pressure,the vibration amplitude of tool electrode also increases.With the increasing of machining depth,the aperture difference of tool electrode also increases.In this paper,the experiment of using EDM system device to open hole in the side wall of tube electrode is put forward.The EDM system processing device and EDM fixture were used to conduct side-wall hole opening test on the tube electrode with an outside diameter of 0.2mm.The process of test processing was analyzed,and the tube electrode with an array of side wall holes obtained from the test processing was obtained.Using experiments,work out the side wall of open hole array tube electrode in EDM deep hole processing,the process of the test processing are analyzed,and the test results show that the lateral wall array holes inlet pressure and rotational speed,the lateral wall open array processing hole by hole tube electrode orifice morphology is better,higher material removal rate,tool electrode loss value smaller,hole wall morphology is better;At a certain speed,with the increase of inlet pressure,the material removal rate is higher,the loss value of tool electrode length is reduced,and the surface morphology of hole inner wall is better.
