Semiconductor photocatalysis technology can rely on solar energy to control pollution and improve the environment,to solve the crisis caused by environmental pollution and so on,which has been paid attention to.As a kind of semiconductor material,ZnS has the characteristics of low cost,non-toxic and easy to obtain.Due to the rapid generation of electron hole pairs under ultraviolet irradiation,the development of catalysts is more extensive.It is well known that the size,defect and surface morphology of semiconductor photocatalysts have great influence on their photocatalytic activity.In order to make nano-structured ZnS show strong photocatalytic activity,researchers have done more research on the preparation of nano-ZnS.Sol-gel method,chemical vapor deposition and hydrothermal method are common methods for the preparation of nano-ZnS.Among these preparation methods,hydrothermal method has attracted a lot of attention because of its advantages such as mild synthesis conditions,high synthesis rate,simple and safe process,easy control and mass production.In this paper,a variety of morphology of ZnS nanocrystals,Ag+,Cu2+,Ni2+,Yb3+doped ZnS nanoparticles were synthesized by hydrothermal method in one step,and ZnS nanocrystals with various morphology were synthesized at the same time.Through the control variables,the reasons that affect the structure,morphology and properties of the products were discussed.The photocatalytic performance of ZnS nanocrystals was also analyzed.The growth mechanism of ZnS nanocrystals and thin films was discussed and analyzed by controlling variables.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Using zinc acetate and thiourea as precursors,ZnS nanocrystals were synthesized by low temperature hydrothermal method.It was found that the morphology of ZnS nanocrystals was greatly affected by the hydrothermal temperature and time.Meanwhile,the photocatalytic performance of ZnS nanocrystals was also discussed.(2)In order to improve the photocatalytic performance of ZnS,a certain amount of metal ions were doped into ZnS.The effects of different doping amounts of metal ions on the structure,morphology and optical properties of ZnS were studied.The results show that the doping of metal ions has no effect on the structure of ZnS,but the doped ZnS has a lower band gap width,which improves the photocatalytic performance of ZnS.(3)Various ZnS nanofilms were synthesized under different conditions.It was found that the morphologies of the products formed on different substrates were different,and the possible growth mechanism of the films was discussed.
