With the continuous development of the aerospace industry,the problem of bird strikes has become one of the major risks that threaten the safety of aircraft.In recent years,composite honeycomb sandwich structures have been widely used in various aircraft components.In order to reduce the damage of aircraft components when the bird strikes the aircraft,and to provide a theoretical reference for the design of the aircraft composite honeycomb sandwich structure,this dissertation uses finite element simulation methods to study the bird strike resistance of the composite honeycomb sandwich structure.First of all,in order to obtain a reliable material model and parameter of the bird body and composite laminates,the finite element model of bird impact aluminum alloy plate and foam aluminum bomb impact composite material laminate plate is established in the finite element analysis software LS-DYNA.Verification by comparison with literature experiment results,and reliable bird body constitutive model based on SPH,aluminum alloy constitutive model and carbon fiber reinforced composite constitutive model method are obtained.Based on the verified model,a numerical simulation analysis of the bird-strike composite laminate is carried out.Without changing the mass of the laminate,the effect of the lay angle of the composite laminate and the thickness of the single layer on the bird strike resistance of the laminate is explored.Then,a simulation analysis of the impact of the gelatin bird bomb on the composite honeycomb sandwich panel is carried out.By comparing with the literature experiment results,the equivalent honeycomb sandwich panel model is verified.The bird body model obtained in the previous article is used to carry out the simulation analysis of the bird strike composite honeycomb sandwich panel.The effects of metal and composite honeycomb core materials,honeycomb core cell wall thickness,metal and composite panel materials,and panel thickness on the high-speed impact resistance of honeycomb sandwich panels are discussed.Finally,on the basis of the previous research,a numerical simulation model of glass fiber composite panel and the NOMEX aramid paper honeycomb sandwich structure radome with bird strike is established.Based on the simulation results,the dynamic response process of the bird-strike composite honeycomb sandwich structure radome is analyzed,and the energy change,deformation and damage process of the bird-strike radome are studied.Then the effect of bird strike conditions and structural parameters of the simulation model on the bird strike resistance is analyzed.The effects of different bird strike positions,different bird strike angles,the thickness distribution of the upper and lower panels of the radome,and the layering angle of the upper panels on the dynamic response and energy absorption of the radome are discussed.
