In this paper,we synthesized the coinage metal complexes of 3,5-diethyl-4nitropyrazole ligand and 3,5-di(2-methylphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole ligand,as well as some adducts with dibenzothiophene and 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene.These complexes have been characterized and investigated by X-ray single crystal diffraction and other techinques such as infrared spectroscopy(IR),thermogravimetric analysis(TGA),Powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD),elemental analysis(EA),nuclear magnetic spectroscopy(NMR)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM).Triangular silver(?)and copper(?)3,5-diethyl-4-nitropyrazolates(M3pz3,M=Ag~,Cu?),as well as their adducts with dibenzothiophene(DBT),4,6dimethyldibenzothiophene(DMDBT)benzothiophene(BT)and benzene(C6H6),have been successfully prepared and characterized by a series of techniques.X-ray analyses show that these adducts are stabilized by M…S,M…C contacts and ?-? stacking interactions.NMR measurements and theoretical calculations indicate that the intensity of interaction between the M3pz3 and DBT/DMDBT/C6H6 follows the trends:Ag3pz3·DMDBT>Ag3pz3·DBT>Cu3pz3·DMDBT>Cu3pz3·DBT>(Ag3pz3)2·C6H6>(Cu3pz3)2·C6H6,which can be understood on the basis of a weak interaction between?-acid and ?-base.The adsorption behavior of DMDBT or DBT by M3pz3 from model oil(n-octane)was studied.The result show that the maximum adsorption capacity at room temperature were 39 mg S(DMDBT)/g Cu3pz3,34 mg S(DMDBT)/g Ag3pz3,40 mg S(DBT)/g Cu3pz3,36 mg S(DBT)/g Ag3pz3,respectively.Compared to Ag3pz3,Cu3pz3 exhibits higher adsorptive capacities for DBT/DMDBT,which has been attributed to its lower molecular mass.3,5-Di(2-methylphenyl)-1,2,4-triazole and its complex-Ag6(omephtz)4(NO3)2(AgTz-3)have been prepared and characterized by a series of techniques.The X-ray single crystal analysis shows that AgTz-3 exhibits a 2D cationic framework,in which the triangular secondary building units(Ag3Tz3)are connected by linear twocoordinate Ag(I)atoms.The adsorption performance of AgTz-3 for PNP or MO was systematically studied.Our result shows that the adsorption amount of PNP or MO increased with time and the adsorption equilibrium was achieved at about 2 hours at 298K.The maximum adsorption capacity was measured to be 41 mg/g and 61 mg/g for PNP,125 mg/g and 132 mg/g for MO at 293 K or 303 K.Furthermore,AgTz-3 shows good reversibility and reusability toward the removal of PNP/MO,and thus has the potential to be an adsorbent of practical use.
