The absorbing material can consume electromagnetic wave by interference or energy conversion through its own structure or absorption characteristics,Radar absorbing materials can effectively reduce the scattering cross-sectional area(RCS)of the aircraft,so that the aircraft can achieve the effect of shadow body.However,the airborne antenna system belongs to the electromagnetic wave transmitting end,and the absorbing material will also have a certain impact on the antenna work of the aircraft itself.In this paper,the influence of absorbing materials on antenna performance is studied in three steps.Firstly,1,U/V band microstrip antennas are selected,and three different positions of radome surface,antenna base and antenna radiator are coated with absorbing materials,and the influence of different positions and thickness of absorbing materials on antenna is explored.2?The aircraft platform is designed by CATIA software,and the aircraft platform is imported into HFSS software to form an integrated model of aircraft antenna.Then the first step of simulation is used to explore the change rule of antenna performance under the joint influence of absorbing materials and airborne platform.3?The antenna is fabricated,and the microwave absorbing material coated on the radome is tested to explore the influence of the absorbing material on the antenna performance.The results show that the material has no obvious influence on the radiation characteristics of the antenna,but has some influence on the matching characteristics of the antenna.In the application of the absorbing material,the coating thickness should be strictly controlled.The airborne platform will have a certain impact on the radiation characteristics of the antenna.Due to the shielding effect of the wing and tail wing of the aircraft,the out of roundness of the antenna pattern is significantly increased.In application,it is necessary to optimize the antenna layout to achieve better results.
