Due to their corrosion resistance,lightweight,excellent mechanical properties,and easy processability,the polymer has been widely used in the production and life of people.With the rapid development of aviation and electronics,there is a growing demand for conductive polymer-based composites with conductivity and electromagnetic interference shielding properties.In recent years,graphene aerogel(GA)have attracted extensive attention from researchers due to their unique three-dimensional interconnection structure,low density,and excellent electrical conductivity.By combining GA with polymer matrix,it is possible to produce composites with mechanical properties,conductive properties,and electromagnetic interference shielding properties.In this paper,the graphene aerogel(GA)were prepared by chemical self-assembly and freeze-drying process using graphene oxide(GO)as raw materials.Then the GA was irradiated by microwave to obtain the microwave reduced graphene aerogel(MRGA).The MRGA/Polyetherketone cardo(PEK-C)composites were fabricated via a vacuum-assisted impregnating and moulding compression method,which were used to study their electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness and mechanical properties.The results showed that microwave reduction significantly reduces oxygen-containing groups and defects in GA.The sp2 hybrid structure of the carbon atom was also restored.This makes MRGA have higher conductivity than GA.Furthermore,compared with GA,MRGA gives the composite materials higher electrical conductivity and better electromagnetic shielding performance.The MRGA30/PEK-C composite exhibits an EMI SE of 36.4 dB in the X band and 54.8 dB in the Ku band,which are 17.32%and 28.22%higher than that of GA30/PEK-C composites.The shielding mechanism of composites is dominated by absorption.The maximum absorption coefficient is up to 99.91%.The results also showed that the glass transition temperature(Tg)and the compression property of PEK-C resin were enhanced with the addition of GA.When the GA content was 5.34 wt%,the Tg of PEK-C composite reaches 247.59?,which is 11.16? higher than that of PEK-C resin.When GA content is 1.18 wt%,the compressive strength of PEK-C composite reaches 144.74 MPa,which is 5.4%higher than that of pure PEK-C resin.
