Polyolefin products are indispensable materials in production and life. These materials are somewhat inexpensive, own higher-level properties, and are easy to manufacture. It is currently the most important chemical synthetic resin.Olefin polymerization catalysts are the core technology of the petrochemical industry. The design and synthesis of new types polyolefin catalysts play a vital role in promoting the occupation of the market.By changing the structure of the ligand and the central metal atom, many researchers develop olefin polymerization catalysts with excellent catalytic performance and tolerance. With the emergence of constrained-geometry catalysts, plenty of researchers have been attracted to the design and assembly that they can use it to catalyze the olefins to render many excellent polyolefin products, such as low-density polyethylene, syndiotactic polypropylene, and Polystyrene, etc.Based on the benefits of constrained-geometry catalysts in catalytic polymerization and potential development of the polyolefin industry, the development metallocene catalysts with high performance, high stability and high added value is a unshirkable responsibility of our scientific researchers. The second chapter details reagents, necessary drugs, manufacturers and some tests and characterization methods. In third chapter,we revised the methods reported in the previous literature, designed and synthesized five new ligands containing benzyl amino side-arm.By using ligands, butyllithium, and trimethylchlorosilane,a series of Ti(IV)and Zr(IV)metal complexes were synthesized by trimethylchlorosilane elimination method and lithium chloride precipitation with the corresponding metal chloride. These metal complexes were characterized by 1H NMR and 13C NMR.The crystals of the complexes were characterized by X-ray single crystal diffractometer, which revealed its structure:the central titanium atom was disrupted by both the benzylamine sidearms and the R substituent, and the coordination environment was relatively crowded. The central metal atom and the N atom seem to be the nature of the Ti=N double bond.In the last chapter,we studied the properties of the Single Metallocene Complexes Containing Benzyl Amino Side Arm in the homopolymerization and copolymerization of ethylene, and the polymers were characterized by corresponding characterization methods.Among them, the copolymerization intercalation rate obtained by 2-Me4Cp C6H4(Flu)CH2NRTi Cl2complexes with titanium atom as the central atom was somewhat higher than that of complexes 2-Me4Cp C6H4CH2NRZr Cl2with zirconium atom as the central atom, and the molecular weight of copolymers obtained by complex2-Me4Cp C6H4CH2CHPh2NTi Cl2was the highest.
