Research On The Influence Of Y Coal Enterprise's Internal Control Quality On Financial Performance

In recent years,our country's economic market has developed rapidly.However,as companies are developing,many problems have been exposed,such as information concealment or false disclosure,inflated profits,broken corporate capital flow,and low management levels,which have caused various stakeholders to pay more and more attention to corporate internal control.The coal industry is the basic industry of our country's national economy.For a long time in the future,our country's main energy consumption structure will continue to be coal resources,the coal industry has an important position in the entire social economy.This thesis focuses on the coal industry,taking Y coal company as an example,to specifically explores the impact of internal control quality in the coal industry on corporate financial performance,hoping to provide a practical way for coal companies to improve financial performance by improving internal control quality.This thesis first reviews related research on internal control quality and financial performance,clarifies related concepts,and using information asymmetry theory,principal-agent theory,and stakeholder theory as the theoretical basis for the research.Then,using the case study method,collect relevant data and information of Y Coal Enterprise from 2015 to 2019,and summarize the current status of Y Coal Enterprise's internal control quality according to the five elements of internal control.It analyzes the influence mechanism of internal control quality on financial performance in theory.Improving the quality of internal control can enhance the profitability of the enterprise,enhance the ability of the enterprise to operate,and form a good solvency and sustainable development ability,which in turn has a positive effect on the financial performance of the enterprise.On the basis of theoretical research,financial indicators are selected from four aspects:profitability,operating ability,debt repayment ability and growth ability,and the influence of Y coal enterprise's internal control quality on financial performance is analyzed based on the data.The thesis compares the data of Y coal company in the five years from 2015 to 2019 vertically,and then compares it horizontally with the listed company Jingyuan Coal and Electricity and the industry average in the same industry,comprehensively analyze the impact of internal control quality on various indicators.The research found that the improvement of Y coal enterprise's internal control quality has a positive impact on financial performance,that is,good internal control quality can promote the improvement of corporate financial performance.At present,the four processes of internal control system establishment,implementation,feedback and assessment have the defects of imperfect establishment of the corporate system,unimplemented internal control implementation,untimely internal control feedback and poor internal control assessment results.Therefore,in view of the defects in the four internal control processes of Y Coal Enterprise,the thesis proposes improvements and perfect suggestions to improve the internal control system of the enterprise,strengthen the supervision of the internal control execution process,open up the internal control feedback communication channel,and expand the internal control evaluation scope to promote the improvement of corporate financial performance.
