As the leader and designer of corporate strategy,managers are the first source of corporate value creation.Good internal control has a positive effect on corporate value enhancement,and different internal controls will affect the role of management.Coal resources are China’s important strategic energy and industrial raw materials,and the basis for the survival and development of human society.In view of this,this article takes coal enterprises as the research object,applies a combination of theory and empirical methods,and conducts in-depth research on the impact of managerial traits and internal control on corporate value,as well as the interactive adjustment of managerial traits and internal control to clarify The mechanism and relationship between the three.The main research results and conclusions are as follows:(1)There is a significant correlation between different characteristics of managers and corporate value.The average age of managers has a positive impact on corporate value,but the impact is not significant,mainly because managers of different ages have their own characteristics and advantages,the manager’s own education level,time of office,economic or financial professional background have a positive impact on the value of the enterprise.However,managers with relevant work experience will lead to a reduction in the value of the enterprise,and its impact is negative.(2)There is a clear positive correlation between internal control and corporate value.Internal control is an important means for contemporary enterprises to strengthen management and control.It has the essential characteristics of management,that is,creating value.The research results of this paper also just verified that effective internal control can significantly enhance corporate value.(3)The interactive adjustment of managerial characteristics and internal control has a significant correlation with the value of the enterprise.The regression coefficients between the internal control index and the manager’s age,education level,time of office,economic and financial background are all positive,and they are significant.That means there is a"superposition effect" between the internal control index and the manager’s age,education level,and term of office,economic or financial professional background.In addition,the regression coefficient between the financial work experience of the enterprise manager and the internal control of the company is negative,which means that there is no "superposition effect" between the financial work experience of the enterprise manager and the internal control index of the enterprise.This article further enriches the relevant research results of the influence of managerial characteristics and internal control on corporate value in the coal industry,and the research conclusions have certain practical guiding significance for selecting managers and strengthening internal control.
