With the development of modern science and technology, the performance of explosive has been continuously improved,at the same time, solid propellant is also developing rapidly in the direction of high energy, dullness, low cost and low pollution, and its application field is also expanding,so it also puts forward higher requirements for the performance of solid propellant.Ammonium perchlorate(AP)is the main oxidant in composite solid propellants, modified double-base propellants and NEPE propellants, and of energetic materials such as explosives. For improving the combustion performance of propellants,it is very important to improve the thermal decomposition performance of AP.Stearic acid has the advantages of non-toxic,low cost and easy to acquire. At the same time,it has good thermal stability, reacting with transition metal ions to form stearate easily, and the fatty hydrocarbon part of stearate also has good thermal stability. In this study, ammonium perchlorate/stearate metal salt core-shell complexes were prepared by in situ synthesis using liquid phase deposition, and the morphology, structure and properties of the complexes were analyzed by various characterization methods. At the same time, the thermal decomposition mechanism of AP is discussed. The study consists of three parts:(1)Ammonium perchlorate/copper stearate(AP/CS)complex was synthesized in situ by liquid phase deposition.Analyze the morphology, structure and elements of the composite through characterization. The impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity test used to characterize its safety performance.Compared with pure AP,the safety performance of the composite was improved.DSC results show that the thermal decomposition temperature of the complex decreases by 78.4?,compared with the pure AP,which significantly improves the thermal decomposition performance of the complex.(2)Ammonium perchlorate/cobalt stearate(AP/SC)complex was synthesized in situ by liquid phase deposition. The impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity test results show that the impact sensitivity H50=38.1 cm,friction sensitivity explosion probability is 0%.The impact sensitivity of pure AP H50=27.9 cm,the probability of explosion of friction sensitivity is 96%.compared with pure AP,the impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity of the complex are significantly reduced, which significantly improves the safety performance of the AP.From the DSC test results,it can be seen that the thermal decomposition temperature of the prepared complex is reduced by 90.3?compared with the pure AP.As expected, the prepared such complexes can significantly improve the safety and thermal decomposition properties of AP.(3)A bimetallic Ammonium perchlorate/copper cobalt stearate(AP/Cu Co-stearate)complex was prepared by liquid phase deposition.Analyze the morphology, structure and elements of the composite through characterization. The impact sensitivity and friction sensitivity test used to characterize its safety performance.Compared with pure AP,the safety performance of the composite was improved.DSC results show that the catalytic effect of bimetallic AP/Cu Co-stearate complex is better than that of monometallic AP/CS and AP/SC complex.Compared with pure AP,the thermal decomposition temperature of the complex decreases by 97.2?,which significantly improves the thermal decomposition performance of the AP.
