White body of car is an important part of car,which is the production carrier of the whole car parts.There are as many as 4000 ? 5000 welding spots in a body in white.The welding quality of body in white plays a decisive role in the quality of the whole vehicle.With the development of body-in-white spot welding technology,spatter is a prominent problem that affects the quality of body-in-white spot welding and the production process of spot welding.Is calculated based on normal level in domestic,the welding spatter produced by waste are expected to be 100 ? 500 yuan/car,according to the calculation,domestic car sales in 2018 amounted to 28 million,the splash of waste at least about 25 billion yuan,and with the increase of automobile consumption demand,auto production growth rate is about 10% a year,splash damage from growing too.Therefore,how to control the spatter in the spot welding process is particularly important.This paper introduces the research process and quality control method by taking BJEV C40 DB model welding line as an example.In this area,spot welding is carried out after the outer plate of the main line is assembled.The main problem is that the welding slag splashing on the side wheel cover causes the flanging convex hull.A lot of burrs are removed after welding in the split station of the front rail,which is difficult to remove.After welding,burr,glue position,glue quantity,welding process factors lead to overflow,combustion and carbonization.Through the comprehensive analysis of various process factors,the direct cause of the problem was found,and the statistical method was used to analyze the causes of the bottleneck station in the main line area.Through the spatter control optimization method for spot welding,the spatter rate could be effectively reduced and the grinding time of the processing person could be reduced.The welding process evaluation method is used to determine the cause of spatter and the control range of parameters and parts size,so as to reduce the spatter.Through the method of comprehensive improvement,it can bring the improvement of beat,quality and labor,and bring comprehensive benefits.
