Light stabilizer is an additive of polymer products,It can shield or absorb ultraviolet energy,under the irradiation of light,the possibility of photochemical reaction can be eliminated or slowed down owing to the presence of light stabilizer,The result brings about the change to prevent or delay the photoaging process of polymer products.Among them,near infrared absorption dyes are a kind of functional dyes with important light stabilizer properties.Thiodiene metal complex is a kind of near infrared dyes,more and more people pay attention to it because of its unique spectral characteristics,the application fields are constantly expanding.However,the disadvantages of thiodiene metal complex,as a traditional dye,also appeared quickly,the most obvious defect is its poor stability.In this paper,molecular modification method was used to overcome the defect,first,methoxynaphthalene reacted with oxalyl chloride by Friedel Crafts reaction,alkoxy naphthyl ethanedione is synthesized,then through the Schnauzer complexation method,Methoxynaphthylthiodiene nickel complex was synthesized by complexation of(NH4)2SO4with Ni Cl2·6H2O.The neutral thiodiene metal complex nickel methoxynaphthyl thiodiene was used as starting material,three ionic thiodiene metal complexes were designed and synthesized under mild conditions of triethylamine as a reductive reagent,all the three ionic thiodiene metal complexes belong to new structures materials and have not been reported in the literature before.The structure of ionic thiodiene metal complex were confirmed by TLC,IR,UV and MS,these results show that the design route of the light stabilizer is reasonable and feasible,and the designed target stabilizers have successfully been prepared.Compared with the existing route,this experimental adopted route is simple and mild.In order to investigate the optical,thermal and electrical properties of ionic thiodiene metal complexes and the differences with neutral thiodiene metal complexes,the photothermal stability of three ionic thiodiene metal complexes and neutral thiodiene metal complexes in solid state and solution state were determined by ultraviolet absorption spectrum and infrared spectrum,the redox potentials of ionic thiodiene metal complexes and neutral thiodiene metal complexes were determined by cyclic voltammetry,The results show that ionic thiodiene metal complexes have better optical,thermal and electrical properties,which is of great significance for their applications.
