For millions of years, natural creatures have evolved nearly perfect structures in order to adapt to various harsh environments. These structures have given mankind the inspiration to design a series of new materials to solve practical problems. In recent years, researchers have designed micro-nano materials with excellent functions and performance by studying and imitating colorful biological structures, which have a wide range of practical value. This research topic starts from the advanced concept of bionic design, and through the study of feather wettability,it is found that it has the ability to transport oil in a directional direction and the performance of oil-water separation. It further conducts theoretical research on its transport mechanism, and conducts structural design based on this theory.Successfully prepared a structure capable of directional transportation of oil through 3D printing technology, and successfully prepared a super-hydrophilic-ultra-lipophilic porous aluminum foil structure through femtosecond laser processing and low surface energy modification technology and successfully used it for oil-water separation.Through the analysis of the principles and the establishment of the model,a certain theoretical basis and technical support can be provided for the function expansion and application of the system structure, and finally the directional transportation of oil droplets and the separation of various oil-water mixtures have been successfully realized. The main content of the full text includes the following three parts:(1)Duck feather structure and performanceTaking the common duck feathers in life as the experimental material, systematically studied its structure and performance, and found that it has natural super-hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties, and the continuously reduced angle provides it with continuous capillary force so that it can be The oil droplets produce the effect of directional transportation, combined with the structure of Nepenthes, the capillary force is theoretically explained, and the immiscible oil-water mixture is separated using duck feathers, and its oil-water separation performance is evaluated.(2)The directional transportation of oil on 3D printed structuresOn the basis of the principle that the duck feather structure can transport oil directionally, and based on the advanced bionic concept,a structure with a decreasing angle is designed using Solid Works software for modeling. This structure is prepared by 3D printing technology. The experiment found that the structure has the function of directional oil transportation verifies the principle of feather directional transportation of oil.(3)Separation of various oil-water mixtures on double-sided aluminum foil Combining the principle of oil-water separation of duck feathers, femtosecond laser processing technology is used to process regular porous aluminum foil, and low surface energy modification methods are used to make it super lipophilic and super hydrophobic, and then laser processing is used to remove one side of the modified substance to obtain super The lipophilic-super-hydrophilic double-sided God porous aluminum foil successfully achieved the separation of a variety of oil-water mixtures and verified its reusability. In this study, the wettability and structure of duck feathers were studied, and the 3D printing technology bionic duck feather structure realized the directional transportation of oil,and realized the separation of various oil-water mixtures by preparing Janus porous aluminum foil. The separation efficiency is as high as 98%.This research can provide theoretical support for the field of microfluidics and is expected to be applied to the treatment of oil and water pollutants.
