Due to its high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and high superconducting critical transition temperature, niobium is widely used in steel industry, aviation materials, nuclear reactors, electronics industry, and low temperature superconducting. The traditional preparation process of niobium is mostly harsh in reaction conditions, high energy consumption and high production cost.Through improvement, the current feasible method for the preparation of niobium is to use electrochemical method for the deposition of niobium, but most of the deposition system is costly and the experimental conditions are harsh, such as high deposition temperature,so the mild and low-cost research process of niobium is of great significance. In order to explore the research process of low-temperature preparation of niobium in milder conditions, the electrochemical deposition method was used to investigate the ratio of ionic liquid to niobium precursor, deposition temperature, deposition time, deposition current density, solvent dosage and other factors. The effect of deposited metal niobium was studied and the mechanism of nucleation growth during niobium deposition was studied. On the basis of depositing the niobium layer,a preliminary attempt was made to prepare the one-dimensional structure of niobium nanowire by means of the special pore structure of the alumina template.Firstly, the paper studied the influence of oxidation number, oxidation voltage, electrolyte concentration and electrolyte type on the preparation of porous anodized aluminum. The results show that after secondary oxidation, the electrolyte is 0.3mol/L at 40V.The template pores prepared in the case of oxalic acid are the most regular, the order degree is high and the pore density is large.Secondly, the electrochemical deposition method was used to investigate the effects of ionic liquid and cerium precursor ratio, deposition temperature, deposition time, deposition current density and solvent dosage on electrochemical deposition of metal niobium mechanism. The results show that the deposition temperature and deposition time have the most significant effect on the metal niobium during the electrodeposition process. The optimum deposition parameters are:deposition temperature is under 60?,electrolyte ratio of ionic liquid to Nb Cl5 molar ratio is of 4:1,solvent ethylene glycol optimal addition amount is of 25 m L,deposition current density is of 8m A/cm2,deposition time is 5h.Under these conditions, the deposited niobium structure is closely distributed and uniform in particle size.In this study, niobium can be prepared under milder conditions(60?)than in previous studies. It is calculated by the chronoamperometry that the electrodeposition of metal Nb in the ionic liquid follows a three-dimensional transient nucleation mechanism. Finally, based on the deposition of niobium layer, the preparation of one-dimensional structure of niobium is carried out by means of the special pore structure of alumina template. The results show that the method can produce niobium nanowires with uniform linear structure.
