With the era of big data coming,the amount of data to be monitored in manufacturing workshop is becoming larger.Distributed SCADA systems,nowadays widely used in data acquisition and supervisory control,are confronted with such problems as high communication pressure and low data processing efficiency.In the investigation of body-in-white on-line detection workstation of a welding workshop in Liuzhou,we found that its detection system is deficient in architecture design,fault diagnosis and statistical process analysis.In order to solve these problems,this paper has carried on the following research work:Firstly,combined with the development of SCADA system,this article proposed a system architecture of modular SCADA system based on edge computing.Distributed data processing is carried out beside each station,and then the processed data is allocated reasonably according to the needs of the factory,so as to reduce the communication pressure and calculation load of upper computer.And then,in order to improve the detection system with the idea of modular SCADA system,the preliminary architecture design is carried out from three aspects of hardware,communication and software combined with the specific needs of the workstation.Secondly,aiming the deficiency of statistical process analysis of detection system,this paper explored the history of statistical process control,and applies the concept of mean-variance single control chart to the process monitoring of body-in-white welding quality.The superiority of this kind of control chart is analyzed in theory,and verified with the actual data,finally improving the efficiency of the system to detect the abnormal welding quality of body-in-white.Finally,a test station is built in the laboratory based on the original detection station.The hardware of the system is selected and designed,the communication network is allocated reasonably,and the monitoring software of the upper computer is compiled,so as to realize the modular SCADA system on the test station.In the application of the modular SCADA system of the test station,the characteristics of the modular SCADA system and the traditional distributed SCADA system are compared and analyzed,and the rationality and advantages of the modular SCADA system are verified.In the process of industrial control with multiple intelligent terminals,distributed stations and relatively independent information among stations,the modular SCADA system has a certain application prospect.
