For solvent-based coatings,each liter of paint will contain about 0.6 liters of volatile solvents,easy to emit lots of VOC.With the country’s more and more stringent requirements on VOC emissions,environmental protection coatings gradually become the focus of people’s research.The environment-friendly coating has powder coating,water-based coating,and light-curing radiation coating.Because the powder coating needs to be baked at high temperature,the workpiece should be heated evenly,and it is not suitable for the construction machinery coating with large and complex appearance,and UV is not suitable for the construction machinery coating.Water-based coatings have become an inevitable choice to replace solvent-based coatings.The purpose of this paper is to develop a high-performance waterborne epoxy anticorrosive primer for construction machinery coating.Through the research on the properties of waterborne epoxy emulsion,epoxy curing agent,antirust pigment,facial ratio(P/B),curing agent dosage and waterborne additives on waterborne epoxy anticorrosive primers,the waterborne epoxy coating which can be applied quickly was obtained,and its performance was even comparable to that of solvent-based epoxy coating.(1)In the selection process of film forming materials,four kinds of epoxy emulsion on the market were selected to match the epoxy curing agent provided by Jiangsu Fuqisen.Through the study of the properties of the prepared paint film,it was found that 3EE104W matched with AQUAEPO-3115 could meet the requirements of construction machinery,and the performance was optimal.In addition,when 3EE104W supporting polyamide curing agent AQUAEPO-3126 and epoxy modified polyamine curing agent 3115 are mixed according to 2:1,the purpose of fast drying can be achieved,and the requirements of"wet touch wet"coating process can be met.(2)In the study of antirust pigment,found by experiment,with KH560modification of magnalium hydrotalcite compound phosphate antirust pigments to SH-A218 and SH-C467S,under the condition of other basic performance unchanged,can obviously improve the coating of water resistance,acid resistance and salt fog resistance,water resistance is more than 240 h,acid is greater than 48 h,salt fog resistance can reach 800 hours.(3)By testing the adhesion,impact resistance and salt spray resistance of the coating under different facial base ratio and the failure time of the wet adhesion after soaking in water,the failure time of the wet adhesion of the coating is 8-9 days when the facial base ratio is between 1.2-1.4,and the failure time is the longest.The salt spray resistance is the best when the facial base ratio is between 1.2-1.4.(4)In the study on the influence of different dosage of curing agent on the performance of the coating,when EW/AHEW=1.2,that is,epoxy excess 20%,the varnish water absorption rate of 8.3%reached the lowest,water resistance of 14 days without foaming and rust,the performance reached the best.(5)In the process of water-based additives selection,through the experiment,in the process of grinding fillers water slurry to join BYK190 of mass fraction of 2%and 0.3%of BYK015 is most appropriate,paint mixing phase flash rust remover to choose the mass fraction of 0.4%of German walker VOK?-AP H-10,rheological additives selection RHEOLATE?299 and Deu Rheo WT-105A according to 1:1distribution,total amount was 0.5%,the various performance to achieve the optimal.Filtered through to the various components of formula system optimization,coating film adhesion on the bottom of the metallic iron base material(row lattice method)to reach a level 0,the pencil hardness of 2 H to 3 H,flexible/mm 1 or less,applicable period greater than 5 H,water resistance is more than 240 H,acid and alkali were greater than 48 H,can achieve 1000 H salt spray resistance,various performance indexes can meet the line of the paint film.
