Research On Female Figure Skating Costumes Design

In 2020,the 24th Winter Olympic Games will be held in Beijing.Against this background,snow and ice sports have become a new sports consumption hot spot.Among all the ice and snow sports,figure skating has its unique artistry and is widely loved by the people.At present,part of domestic manufacturers of female figure skating costumes lack of systematic design methods and innovation consciousness,and there is a big gap with foreign brands,so the the oretical research on the design of female figure skating costumes is becoming increasingly important.This paper reviews the history of female figure skating and introduces the concept and classification of female figure skating costumes.Based on the analysis of pictures and video datas,the evolution process from the birth of female figure skating costumes to the present day is summarized,and the whole process is divided into three stages: generation,development and improvement.The style,fabric and decorative characteristics of representative clothing in each period are analyzed,and the reasons for the evolution of female figure skating costumes are discussed.The research shows that the general evolution of female figure skating costumes is from complex to simple,then simple to complex.The fit is from loose to tight.Clothing on the body of coverage from high to low.The production process is from single to complex.The evolution is mainly driven by the progress of science,technology and social culture.This paper makes a comparative study of female figure skating costumes with female ballet costumes,female speed skating clothing and female rhythmic gymnastics costumes,and concludes that it has the characteristics of warmth preservation,movement and appreciation.Discusses the design principle of female figure skating costumes and summarizes them into four aspects: function,fashion,theme and rule.By analyzing 200 sets of performance costumes in 25 international female figure skating competitions in the past three years,the rules of style,fabric,color and decoration design are summarized.It is found that the design theme is based on the background music and influenced by the figures,cultural impressions and dance styles related to the music.The design of figure skating costumes is divided into the constant design and the changing design,and the design process is summarized as follows.Part of the design remains unchanged,while the rest of the design is changed according to the design theme by using image method,association method,exegetical method and fusion method.This paper discusses the innovative design method of figure skating costumes,and puts forward that the local culture should be taken as the breakthrough point,the music containing the connotation of national culture should be selected,and the design style,fabric,color and decoration should be combined with the traditional costume culture.In order to further verify the theory,the design practice of figure skating costumes is carried out,which provides reference for domestic manufacturers who lack the oretical guidance.
