A Study On The Representation Of Costume In Gongbi Figure Painting ——Taking Ming And Qing Dynasty Figure Painting As An Example

Meticulous figure painting has been developing vigorously and multiplex since its origin in remote antiquity and in modern times.As an important part of meticulous figure painting,dress is closely related to meticulous figure painting.From ancient times to the present,the clothing is passing through the time vicissitude,it is closely related with the time pattern,the ritual system as well as individual life.Meticulous figure painting can not be separated from the setting off of costumes.Costumes,as an important element of figure painting,not only record the image features of characters,but also highlight the status of characters,which can express the custom features of the times,and express the feelings that artists want to express,complement each other with meticulous figure painting,and the careful depiction of costumes can make the picture three-dimensional and full to a certain extent.Taking meticulous figure painting in the Ming and Qing Dynasties as an example,this thesis mainly discusses how the costumes in paintings express the pictures,thus illustrating the important role of costumes in meticulous figure painting.Through collecting,studying and arranging the representative works of the main artists in the period of Ming and Qing Dynasties,and referring to the works and art research articles of the past dynasties in China,this thesis systematically sorts out,analyzes and summarizes the main artistic forms and styles of the expression of the figure painting in the period of Ming and Qing Dynasties,and analyzes and summarizes the main technical characteristics of the expression of the figure clothing in this period of China according to the types,composition and patterns of the ancient clothing.The thesis launches roughly from the following several aspects: The first part elaborates the fine brushwork portrait clothing development evolution and the esthetic tendency.The second part takes figure painting of Ming and Qing Dynasties as an example to study the artistic characteristics of clothing.Including the Ming and Qing Dynasties period of the main painters of the main paintings,from the perspective of artistic development to study the characteristics of clothing performance.The third part is to study the important role of clothing expression in meticulous figure painting.Mainly launches the elaboration from two aspects.Firstly,the function of clothing expression in the form of picture is analyzed from four angles: line,color,pattern pattern and decoration design,and secondly,the function of clothing expression in artistic conception is studied from three aspects: molding character image,highlighting painting performance and embodying aesthetics of the times.The fourth part is about the realistic value and influence of clothing performance on Chinese meticulous figure painting.As a learner and creator of Chinese painting,we must attach importance to and fuse it in the picture,and create the creation form of meticulous figure painting that conforms to the artistic characteristics of the new era,which has a wide range of positive significance for today’s figure painting creation.
