The comb-shaped polyacrylate dispersant designed in this project has a random copolymer main chain obtained by free radical polymerization of acrylic acid,acrylate and styrene.The benzene ring,anhydride,and amide groups in the main chain play the important role,which provide hydrogen bonds,?-?electrostatic adsorption and other secondary bonds to achieve anchoring of pigment particles when used in coatins.In order to adapt to the application to a greater extent in different coating systems,the solvation chain of comb-shaped polymer selects as polyetheramine(PEA),which has medium polarity.The solvation chain length of dispersant is decided by the molecular weight of PEA.The obtained polymer dispersant and nano-pigment are used in an acrylic coating system to evaluate the performance.The results are shown as follows:(1)The optimized reaction conditions of the polyacrylate main chain are selected as:under the protection of nitrogen,the reaction temperature is 140?,the amount of initiator is 2%,and the reaction time is 4hr.Under these conditions,the molecular weight of the polyacrylate is 4013,and the distribution index is between 1.13?1.24.(2)The polymer dispersant is used in nano Ti O2 coatings.The results from dispersion detector and suspension stability test indicate that the average particle size of the nano Ti O2 in the acrylic emulsion Lacper(?)4501 is maintained within the range of 0.124?0.210?m,and can be stable dispersion for 120hr.XRD,FT-IR and XPS spectroscopy tests show that the polymer dispersant is adsorbed on the surface of Ti O2through hydrogen bonds.Using the enterprise evaluation method,it is found that the dispersant can make coatings with smaller fineness and lower viscosity,make the coating film with better color fastness,color development and gloss,the property of the dispersant is very close to that of the comparative sample of B-190.(3)The polymer dispersant is used in ultrafine carbon black coatings.The resuts from dispersion detector and suspension stability test indicate that the average particle size of ultrafine carbon black in acrylic emulsion Lacper(?)4501 is maintained in the range of 0.231?0.296?m,and can be uniformly and stably dispersed for 240hr at lest.XRD,FT-IR and XPS spectroscopy tests show that the polymer dispersant is adsorbed on the surface of ultrafine carbon black through?-?electrostatic adsorption.Using the enterprise evaluation method,it is found that the dispersant can make coatings with smaller fineness and lower viscosity,make the coating film with better color fastness,color development and gloss,the property of the dispersant is very close to that of the comparative sample of B-190.(4)The polymer dispersant is used in the r GO coating system.The results from dispersion detector and the suspension stability test indicate that the average particle size of r GO in the acrylic emulsion Lacper(?)4501 is maintained within the range of0.312?0.367?m,and can be uniformly and stably dispersed for 240hr at lest.XRD,FT-IR and XPS spectroscopy tests show that the polymer dispersant is adsorbed on the surface of r GO through?-?electrostatic adsorption.The influence of the dispersant on the anti-corrosion performance of nano-graphene coatings was tested by an electrochemical workstation,the results show that the dispersant can help r GO to be arranged orderly in the coating and then improve the anti-corrosion efficiency;the corrosion rate of the low carbon steel plate after coated the nano-graphene coating is reduced to 1.394×10-6 mm/a(comparing to the bared steel plate of 3.509×10-1 mm/a)The paper has 37 pictures,10 tables,and 82 references.
