From the aviation industry to the power industry to road engineering,ice freezing is a common phenomenon in many fields.Ice or wet snow will highly adhere to the road surface and grow quickly.It is strong and tough to bond with the road surface and is extremely difficult to remove.This will reduce the road's anti-skid performance and cause a series of traffic problems.Therefore,under various climatic conditions,it is of great significance to reduce the adhesion of ice and reduce the accumulation of ice,so that the ice can be easily removed.Although various anti-icing and deicing technologies have been developed for road icing,such as chemical,thermal and mechanical deicing,these methods are costly and construction complex,and many methods are only started after the ice and snow have accumulated to a certain amount use.Research on the development of super-hydrophobic coatings for anti-icing and snow-removing is receiving widespread attention,super-hydrophobic coating can prevent or hinder the accumulation of ice and snow on the surface,and can also reduce the adhesion of ice to the road.Therefore,this article applies super-hydrophobic coating to the field of anti-icing of road paving engineering,which has important engineering guidance value.In this paper,starting from the basic epoxy crosslinking reaction,a new type of HFS-5A epoxy resin is used,and use polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)to improve its hydrophobic properties,equipped with domestic commonly used 593 curing agent carry out a ring-opening reaction.Thereby forming a three-dimensional structure of macromolecular network,which becomes an adhesive with strong adhesion.Use Sol-gel method,use stearic acid to modify nano-oxide particles to make them superhydrophobic.It is mixed with modified resin to form a strong super-hydrophobic micro/nano epoxy composite coating on the surface.The main work carried out on it is as follows:(1)The mechanical properties of epoxy resin were tested by the MTS universal testing machine,and the best ring-solid ratio was found.The super-hydrophobic coating was prepared by spraying method,and the wettability of the coating on the concrete surface was tested through the basic principles of the sessile drop method and the tangent method,and the optimal concentration of nanoparticles and epoxy resin was determined.(2)Through the water drop icing test,the water-repellent group and the normal group of different concrete texture surfaces were compared,and the icing appearance of water droplets under different spray thickness,it is found that the thickness of the coating does not have much effect on the freezing of water droplets.The difference between the hydrophobic coating and the unpaved surface is significant,and the grooved surface has the worst performance.By comparing the icing speed,it is found that the icing speed of the water droplets on the surface of the super-hydrophobic coating is significantly later than that of the ordinary concrete specimen.(3)By controlling different inclination angles and water speeds,the ice coating rate of superhydrophobic specimens and ordinary specimens were compared.It is found that regardless of the inclination angle and the water flow speed,the surface ice coating rate of the superhydrophobic specimens is much lower than that of the ordinary specimens.With the increase of the inclination angle,the surface icing rate of the superhydrophobic specimen is close to 1%,and the anti-icing effect is obvious.(4)Using pendulum tribometer and sand patch method to compare the anti-skid performance of super-hydrophobic coating and ordinary surface.It is found that the pendulum value and structure depth of the super-hydrophobic coating specimens are slightly lower than those of the control group,but the difference is not very large,and it has little effect on the anti-skid performance of the road surface.The ice-road normal and tangential adhesion strength tests were carried out using the MTS universal testing machine.Through data comparison and analysis,it is found that the coating has an excellent effect of reducing the adhesion strength of the ice layer.(5)Comprehensive exploration of coating performance,through ice breaking test,snow thinning test,sandpaper abrasion test,water shock resistance test,freeze-thaw cycle test,under the action of external load,the coating can effectively remove the surface ice and snow,and the deicing effect is significant.In the control group,the effect was poor due to the strong adhesion strength of the ice layer.Under the condition of external force,the coating will produce a certain amount of wear,and the surface will suffer a certain degree of damage,causing the loss of superhydrophobic properties and turning into a hydrophobic state.
