With the development of modern industry,epoxy resin(Epoxy Resin,EP)composite materials play a huge role in many fields due to their high strength and low density.However,due to their brittleness,they are used in some fields.Therefore,adding nano-inorganic fillers to epoxy resin to improve the mechanical properties of composite materials has been a research hotspot in recent years.Graphene Oxide(GO)is a two-dimensional sheet-like carbon nanomaterial similar in structure to graphene,and has the characteristics of a large specific surface area and a large number of oxygen-containing functional groups.The research field has attracted great attention.In order to make GO have good dispersibility and interfacial effect in EP,thereby further improving the mechanical properties of composite materials,graphene oxide must be functionally modified.This topic studies the mechanical properties of two functionalized graphene oxide reinforced epoxy resin composites.One is based on 4.4-diaminodiphenyl ether modified graphene oxide(BGO)as filler,and the other is based on?-Al2O3(30nm)in 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane(APTS)and 12After modification with sodium alkylbenzene sulfonate(surfactant),APTS modified graphene oxide(FGO)was modified as a filler,and epoxy resin composites were prepared by solution blending,and the mechanical properties were studied.The influence of different reaction ratios on the structure and performance of BGO and FGO at 80°C was studied by FT-IR,Raman,XRD and universal testing machine.The BGO prepared when the reaction temperature is 80°C,and the mass ratios of 4.4-diaminodiphenyl ether to graphene oxide are1:1,1:2,1:3,1:4,and 1:5.Comparing the results,it is proved that the modification effect is the best when the mass ratio of the two is 1:2.Compare the FGO prepared when the mass ratio of modified?-Al2O3 to modified graphene oxide is 0.1:1,0.3:1,0.5:1,0.7:1,1:1 at the same temperature,and the results prove The modification effect is best when the mass ratio of the two is 0.5:1.SEM and TEM were used to characterize the micro morphology of the modified graphene oxide under the optimal reaction ratio.Using XPS was used to analyze the modified graphene oxide under the optimal reaction ratio,and the results showed that the modification was successful and new chemical bonds were formed.Under the premise of determining the optimal reaction ratio,using a universal testing machine,an impact testing machine and a Shore hardness tester,the effects of the two functionalized graphene oxide additions on the mechanical properties of the prepared epoxy resin composites were compared.The experimental results show that the reaction ratio of 4.4-diaminodiphenyl ether and graphene oxide at 80°C is 1:2,and the best addition amount of BGO is 0.1%.The tensile properties,bending properties,and bending properties of the obtained BGO/EP are The impact performance and hardness have been significantly improved.Compared with EP,the tensile strength,tensile modulus,flexural strength,and flexural modulus are increased by58%,44%,79%,and 103%,respectively.The reaction ratio of modified?-Al2O3 to modified graphene oxide at 80°C is 0.5:1,and the best addition amount of FGO is 0.3%,and the mechanical properties of FGO/EP are improved significantly.Compared with EP,the impact strength is increased by 108%,and the hardness is increased by 50%.The effect of increasing the mechanical properties of epoxy resin composites is the best.Through SEM analysis of the cross-section,the toughness of adding nanoparticles is increased compared with EP.A comprehensive comparison of the impact properties and hardness of BGO/EP and FGO/EP shows that the reaction ratio of modified?-Al2O3 and modified graphene oxide at 80°C is0.5:1,and when the addition amount of FGO is 0.3%,The composite performance improvement effect of preparing epoxy resin is better.
