Micro gears have been widely used in various equipment such as micro electrical systems,micro motors,and micro pumps.Fine-tooth micro gears are usually used for motion transmission up to 50000r/min.Low operating noise,high motion transmission accuracy,low wear rate,and high fatigue life are important characteristics.These characteristics indicate that gears should have high functional characteristics and long service life.To meet these requirements,micro gears must have high geometric accuracy,surface finish,and good surface integrity.At present,the production of micro gears mainly depends on improving manufacturing technology to improve product quality,but its cost is relatively high.In response to the problem of realizing automation,greening,high efficiency,high-quality micro-gear surface quality improvement.Based on the traditional rotary optical processing,this paper introduces an ultrasonic field to propose new techniques for ultrasonic auxiliary optical processing micro-gears.The main research work carried out in the thesis is as follows:(1)Designed and manufactured an ultrasonic-assisted optical finishing experiment device.Based on the analysis of the principle of rotary smoothing and ultrasonic-assisted processing,the design of the ultrasonic-assisted smoothing processing system is carried out.It is mainly proposed that a 40 k Hz ultrasonic sound field can be added into the rotary finishing drum to realize the combination of ultrasonic and traditional finishing,and provide a realistic reference for the introduction of ultrasonic assistance in finishing.(2)Numerical simulation of ultrasonic field was carried out.Based on the formation mechanism of the ultrasonic field,the COMSOL Multiphysics software is used to simulate the ultrasonic field of the multi-transducer.The processing strength is determined by comparing the volume fraction of the processing medium and the sound pressure of the sound field at different powers,and the ultrasonic sound field is made of aluminum foil.The test proves the effectiveness of the ultrasonic sound field,and provides theoretical guidance for the orthogonal experiment of ultrasonic-assisted polishing.(3)Analyze the processing mechanism of the rotation speed,analyze the influence of the rotation speed on the speed flow field and energy flow field of the processing medium through EDEM simulation,and study the movement state and force of the workpiece,which provide a certain reference for the selection of the rotation speed range of rotary finishing,and achieve a further synergy of ultrasonic and light finishing processing.(4)On the basis of COMSOL Multiphysics ultrasonic simulation and EDEM,exploratory experiments are taken to prove that ultrasonic plays an active role in the rotary finishing process.Design orthogonal experiments to study the four parameters of grinding block shape,drum speed,ultrasonic power and processing time,and analyze the influence of various factors on the surface quality of workpiece.The optimal process parameters are as follows: When using(37)3 spherical grinding block,the drum speed is 125r/min,and the ultrasonic power is 120 W,and the processing time is 70 min,the surface roughness Ra is measured to be 0.110?m.The experimental results indicate that the ultrasonic-assisted finishing process can obtain higher surface quality.
