In this paper,ZTA(alumina toughened zirconia)ceramics with different specifications are used as reinforcing particles,and high chromium cast iron is used as metal matrix.The surface of ZTA ceramic particles is plated with metal or coated with metal and compound powder.The ceramic particle preform is prepared by adhesive bonding.ZTA ceramic particle reinforced high chromium cast iron matrix composite is successfully prepared by negative pressure casting technology.The composites coated with Ni,Cu,CO and Cr,Al,B4C,Fe2O3,Cr2O3 were successfully prepared.The microstructure,element distribution and phase composition of the interface of the composites were analyzed by SEM,EDS and XRD,and the effects of coating elements and active substances on the microstructure of the composites were explored,And the influence on casting infiltration and interface bonding.The conclusions are as follows:(1)There are significant aggregation of Si and Na,diffusion of Al and diffusion of Fe,Cr,C,O,Ni and Zr in the interface transition layer of nickel plated composite,and a variety of compounds,such as Al2Cr,Ni Si3P4,Al3Zr2 and Zr3Ni O are formed.Ni Si3P4 and Zr3Ni O containing Ni can reduce the wettability of ceramics and improve the casting infiltration effect;(2)The results show that Al,Si and Na are obviously accumulated in the interface transition layer of cobalt plated composite,C,O,Fe,Cr and Co are diffused,and various compounds such as Co Al2O4,Co Cr2O4,Fe Co Cr O4,Co3O4 and Co C are formed.These compounds can improve the wettability of ZTA ceramics and promote the casting infiltration and bonding of ZTA ceramics and high chromium cast iron;(3)In the interface transition layer of copper plated composite,Si and Na gather significantly,Al diffuse into the interface,and Fe,Cr,Cu,C,O,Zr diffuse into the interface;Moreover,Cu Al O2,Al Cu2Mn,Cu Cr O4,Al5Fe2,Fe Zr2,Na Si Al O4 and other compounds are formed to reduce the wettability of ceramics and improve the casting infiltration effect;(4)Coating Al,Cr+B4C,Al+Cr2O3,Al+Fe2O3 and other active materials to form different compounds in the interface transition layer can improve the wettability,promote casting infiltration and strengthen the combination of ceramics and high chromium cast iron;...
