In the automated production process,small-diameter tools,especially those with a diameter of less than 6mm,are very easy to break during processing.If the CNC machine tool is allowed to continue processing when the tool has broken,this will not only waste the control of the machine tool.The processing time will also cause defects in the parts processed this time to fail to meet normal use,and it is more likely that some parts of the parts are not processed,causing subsequent tool impact fracture.If online monitoring of small-diameter tool processing can be carried out,it will bring huge economic benefits to the society.Therefore,the current online monitoring system of tool status has become recognized by various enterprises or countries,and is a key technology that is urgently needed to solve industrial automation.The research content of this paper is centered on solving the problem of tool breakage detection in the automated production process.Based on the analysis of the existing processing technology,the online breakage monitoring system of CNC machine tools is designed and developed.The working principle of the detection system is : Electrical conduction principle,that is,to isolate the spindle from the workpiece to be processed,set a voltage across the spindle and the workpiece to be processed,determine whether the tool is broken by detecting the magnitude of the series resistance voltage,and then use the method of learning and contrasting to A complete processing cycle is used as the reference template.In the subsequent processing,the voltage of the series resistance is collected and compared with the reference template to determine whether the tool is broken within a complete processing cycle.Using an embedded platform to achieve a low-cost,high-accuracy real-time monitoring system for CNC machine tool breakage,including hardware and software,the hardware includes LCD drive circuit,USB download circuit,input and alarm circuit and data acquisition circuit,and to The circuit design and manufacture a set of circuit boards;the software includes a graphical interface developed and designed for the real-time monitoring system of NC machine tool breakage based on the em Win graphical interface library,including the design of the main interface,the design of the waveform display interface,the design of the debugging interface and Design of parameter input interface.Through research,the online broken tool monitoring system designed by this subject has reached the expected requirements.Through long-term testing,the system is stable and reliable.It can monitor the status of processing tools online,reduce human intervention in CNC machine tools during processing;it can reduce the rate of workpiece waste caused by tool breakage during processing and improve the production quality of workpieces;Can reduce the invalid processing time after the tool breaks,improve the production efficiency of the workpiece and the use efficiency of the machine tool;can reduce the waste of the tool in the production process of the enterprise,improve the tool utilization rate;can improve the use efficiency of the tool itself,and avoid the tool failure And cause the scrap of the workpiece and the failure of the processing machine.
