For a long time,garlic weighing and screening have been performed manually,time-consuming,laborious and error-prone,which has seriously affected the post-production sales of garlic.With the development of mechatronics and sensor control technology,the intelligent weighing and screening device has brought new breakthroughs for the automatic weighing and packaging of agricultural products.At present,domestic large-particle materials such as garlic are screened by a single weighing method.After multiple screened materials are combined and packaged,the overall quality will vary greatly,and the combined screening device for the overall quality is mostly used for small particles or powdered materials such as rice and flour.In this paper,the quality screening of single garlic is abandoned,and instead screens for theoverall quality of garlic after combination.In summary,a combined screening device based on garlic quality was designed in this paper,the chain-cup garlic picking mechanism is used to realize the garlic exchange between single garlic and adjacent cups.The rapid weighing of garlic and the accurate combination screening of garlic according to quality are completed by the control system with weighing sensor and PLC.The main content of this article are as follows:1)The physical characteristics of garlic materials were analyzed,the quality,diameter and other material characteristics of garlic measured,and the skin damage force and compressive load curve were obtained by pressure test.The force of the garlic was obtained based on the EDEM simulation of the garlic of garlic in the feed barrel and the force analysis of garlic exchange between the feed cups,and the structural design data is obtained by comparing the damage force of the garlic epidermis.2)A device for quantitative weighing and screening of small-package garlic is proposed.By establishing a kinematic model and ADAMS and EDEM simulation models,the garlic data and the garlic exchange data are analyzed to obtain the size of the cup,the depth of the pit,the distance between the cups,and the chain.,Speed and other parameters.A kinematic model to analyze the selection of garlic,select the load,and determine the motor power was established.3)The retrospective method to screen the quality combinations of garlic,and conduct a pre-search for possible garlic combinations was used in this paper in order to screen out the quality and several garlic in the specified range.It is possible to quickly obtain garlic quality and accurate quality combined screening to use the mixed programming of PLC ladder diagram and C language.4)The number of samples and the error range was determined by simulation calculations,and a single group of garlic blanking test was performed to obtain the success rate of garlic taking and the success rate of garlic exchange when the chain speed,the shape of the cup,and the distance between the cups are different.The results of garlic damage and garlic damage analysis were compared,and the best plan is determined according to the problems in the experiment.The test bench of the whole weighing screening device is built,and the whole quantitative weighing screening test is carried out.The data of the whole blanking success rate,screening success rate,screening accuracy and garlic damage results are obtained.The requirements of garlic quantitative screening are compared to verify the feasibility of garlic weighing screening device.
