Epoxy Resin Modified By Aligned Graphene And Its Properties

In this thesis,graphene(Gr)and magnetic graphene(MGr)were prepared by liquid phase exfoliation and hydrothermal method respectively,and the composites epoxy/graphene(EP/Gr),epoxy/magnetic graphene(EP/MGr),epoxy/aligned magnetic graphene(EP/AMGr)were also prepared.The materials were characterized by scanning electron microscope,X-ray Powder diffractometer,atomic force microscopy,vibrating sample magnetometer,laser thermal conduction analyzer,thermogravimetric analyzer,tensile testing machine and infrared spectrometer.The effect of aligned graphene on the thermal conductivity,mechanical properties,thermal property of the composites were investigated.The results indicate that Gr and MGr were obtained successfully and the MGr is consisted of 70 percent graphene and 30percent of ferriferous oxide.The AMGr enhances the tensile strength of EP effectively,however the enhancement is weaker than that of non-aligned graphene.Comparing with the tensile strength of EP,that of EP/AMGr containing 0.6 percent of graphene increases by 43.7%and reaches a maximum of 34.99 MPa.Also,the graphene modification improves thermal conductivity of EP remarkably,especially the graphene aligned in EP.The thermal conductivity of EP/AMGr with 1.2 percent of AMGr reaches 0.240 W·m^-1·K^-1.Comparing with the thermal conductivity of EP,that of EP/AMGr increases by 60%,and increasing by 32.6%and 30.4%than those of EP/Gr and EP/MGr.The 5%mass loss temperature(T_5%)of EP increases with AMGr content and reaches 178.6?with 0.6%of AMGr,increased by 25.7?compared with that of EP;and the temperature of maximal decomposition rate(T_max1)of EP/AMGr increases by 41.1?compared with that of EP.
