The crushing process of Attapulgite Clay(hereinafter referred to as attapulgite)is an indispensable step in the process of attapulgite purification.At present,the crushing of attapulgite is done by first drying and then crushing.This type of crushing will destroy the physical bonds of the attapulgite.Affect the quality of attapulgite,and at the same time,the drying process will damage the environment and cause great waste of resources.In order to solve this problem,it is proposed to directly crush the Attapulgite wet mine(The wet attapulgite ore is the ore that has not been treated by drying,etc.).However,the effect of using the current crusher to break the Attapulgite wet mine is not ideal.The main reason is that the Attapulgite wet mine has a certain viscosity.This requires the improvement of the crusher,and creatively proposes using the principle of bionics to apply the anti-adhesive appearance of the biological world to the surface of the crushing tooth roller.However,if the actual crusher is directly re-developed and improved,a lot of manpower and material resources need to be wasted,and the test cycle is also long.Discrete element method is an effective method to study the fragmentation problem.Based on the discrete element theory and the discrete element simulation software EDEM to simulate the crushing process,it can effectively save the research and development cost and time,and is of great significance to the research and development of the Attapulgite wet mine crusher.This article first searches the literature,The research status of bionic machinery,the research status of crushing theory and the research status of discrete element method are briefly summarized respectively.Discussed the feasibility of using discrete element method theory and discrete element software EDEM to simulate the crushing of Attapulgite wet mine.Which mainly involves three aspects of research.(1)Establishment of simulation particle model of Attapulgite wet mine.This paper carried out a series of soil science related experiments on the real Attapulgite wet mine,obtained the property parameters of the real Attapulgite wet mine,and defined the simulation particle model of the Attapulgite wet mine according to the relevant parameters.(2)Apply the anti-sticking biological surface to the surface of the crushing tooth roller.In this paper,a microscopic observation was made on the surface of some anti-adhesive organisms.According to the observation results,the body surface features were fitted and modeled by reverse engineering,and then the obtained three-dimensional model was applied to the surface of the crushing gear roller.(3)Use the discrete element method theory and the discrete element software EDEM to model the simulation model.The simulation model is established according to the obtained simulation particle model and the bionic crushing toothed roller model.The process of particle replacement and the setting of various simulation parameters are mainly introduced.In this paper,the optimal attapulgite bionic crushing tooth is obtained through two crushing simulation experiments,and combined with the actual experiment,the correctness of the second simulation experiment is verified.The finally obtained attapulgite bionic crushing teeth can effectively solve the Attapulgite wet mine crushing problem,and then provide a reference for solving the problems of environmental pollution and resource waste in the attapulgite crushing process.
