This paper takes the simulation study on the different working conditions of crushing Process of Double toothed roll crusher by using discrete element method. It also analyzes the various working conditions of Double toothed roll crusher in different feeding size,material strength and pin roll speed as well as researches on the starting condition in full load and the crushing capacity of Double toothed roll crusher under single-particle crushing working condition. It emphasizes on the survey of crushing feature of Double toothed roll crusher in production capacity,crushing moment and crushing power.The main contents of this paper are:1. It has introduced the background and significance of topic and described the domestic and foreign development history and current station of Double toothed roll crusher and discrete element method.2. It has explained the crushing mechanism of Double toothed roll crusher, deeply researches on the new type tooth placement of roll tooth, chosen the reasonable tooth placement based on the influence of tooth placement on the crushing capacity of large-block material and taken the rock mechanical parameter calibration test on the basis of uniaxial compression principles and verified the test results. It also established the simplified model and discrete element method of rock,distribution model of feeding size as well as built the particle adherence rock model in the range of0-2000mm and divided the large size material into two types of material particle size. It was split material into low compressive strength material of1.50-2.50MPa and high compressive strength material of9.50-10.50MPa and divided pin roll into15r/min、18.75r/min and21r/min.3. It first looked up the physical property of material, researched on the simulation time step and selection of collision detection grid in simulation solution model, established the rock alternate file to take the material production and alternate work as well as built the simulation league of12different working condition of two feeding sizes, two material strength and three pin roll speed.4. It has researched on the simulation results extraction method of Double toothed roll crusher, the crushing feature of production capacity,crushing moment and crushing power of Double toothed roll crusher and compares with the results calculated by the theoretical equation.5. It has taken the simulation study on the starting working condition of Double toothed roll crusher, compared rated moment of electrical machine with crushing moment and researched on the crushing feature of single-particle crushing process.
