Research On The Transformation Of Architectural Space Forms In Costume Design

Nowadays,clothing has already embarked on the road of diversification,and people are not simply pursuing the principle of form beauty.Clothing is a product that symbolizes the times,witnessing the development of society and the changes of the times.This article uses the visual characteristics presented by modern architectural space forms to combine it with clothing.While retaining the subtle commonalities between the two,it takes the connotation and aesthetic value of the building itself and transforms it into a clothing language,seeking innovative aesthetics in the clothing structure.At the same time,it symbolizes the progress of the spirit of the times and the improvement of the level of clothing,and it also gives the innovative mechanism of the architectural form design in the clothing structure.The shape of the building is not only to satisfy the surface and space state of the building structure,but also to explore the openness of thinking in the shape and the innovation of technology.This feature of the building can be applied to the clothing structure design to achieve the reflection on humanistic philosophy and the creation of artistic beauty.The well-known costume designer(Pierre Balmain)once said: Fashion is the building of action.It can be seen that costume design is like architectural design.It requires a lot of use of three-dimensional space design methods,no matter from structure,profile,to detail processing,which can be closely related to the architecture.Therefore,based on the comprehensive study of clothing structure,this article explores the influence of historical,cultural,political,belief and other factors on the architectural form in different periods,and analyzes the changes of clothing under the influence of architectural changes and the personality and commonalities between the changed architectural form and the clothing structure.From the perspective of architecture,this article explores the changes that light and shadow bring to the architectural space form,illustrates the practicality of light and shadow in clothing design,and figure out how to use clothing structure to realize light and shadow.Allowing the clothing structure to use a variety of methods to achieve styling is the main purpose of this design.For this cross-border cooperation between architecture and clothing,the design incorporates the famous architect Zaha Hadid’s architectural work.The building is located at Zhujiang West Road,Tianhe District,Guangzhou City,Guangzhou.It is Guangzhou Opera House,known as the "Rounded double gravel".This design uses the building as an inspiration and tries to analyze the multiple morphological characteristics of the space.For example,in the spatial morphological characteristics,non-linear space,flowing space,fuzzy space,etc.are included;then in the light and shadow morphological characteristics,natural light and artificial light and shadow,combined with the thinking innovation of space and light and shadow,from flat to three-dimensional,concrete to abstract,and various forms of expression ranging from plane to three-dimensional,concrete to abstract,macro to micro,summed up the deep connection between architectural space form and clothing structure.Finally,the deconstruction of clothing and the reconstruction of clothing fabrics are used to realize the expression of space,light and shadow in the building.This demonstrates the feasibility of architectural space form in clothing design,and at the same time gives clothing a new visual impact.
