With the gradual decrease or even depletion of land oil and gas resources,the exploitation of marine oil and gas resources has developed rapidly and has extended to deep water and extremely deep water.The Gas-Liquid Cylindrical Cyclone,which is short for GLCC,has application prospects in the field of offshore oil exploitation because of its small size,simple structure,no internal components,and easy installation and operation.According to the research results on the improvement of GLCC structure,especially the inlet structure,it is known that the operating range and separation efficiency of GLCC are closely related to the structure type of GLCC,especially the inlet structure has a great influence on separation efficiency.In this paper,the air-water two-phase medium at normal temperature and pressure is selected.On the basis of the existing single-inlet GLCC,the inlet structure is changed,and the effect of the separation performance of the GLCC with double inlet structures of different forms and sizes is researched.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The GLCC liquid phase separation efficiency of different dual inlets structures varies greatly.We can know by experiment,under the amount of liquid that can be achieved in the experiment,1# GLCC and 2# GLCC both have Liquid Carry Over phenomenon,and the liquid phase separation efficiency is lower than single inlet GLCC.Both 3# GLCC and 4# GLCC have not reached the starting point of LCO phenomenon within the range of experimental working conditions,and the liquid separation efficiency is higher than that of single inlet GLCC.The size of the main inlet cross-sectional area is the key factor that affects the GLCC liquid phase separation efficiency of the dual inlet structure.(2)Through experimental observations,the qualitative analysis of the gas flow pattern distribution of the four dual-inlets structure GLCC vertical riser tube,inclined inlet tube and cylinder body was carried out.The dual-inlets structure has almost no effect on the flow pattern of the vertically rising pipe section.The flow pattern of the inclined inlet pipe section will change due to the direction of the double inlet opening.The main inlet cross-sectional area is the main reason for the change of the upper cylinder flow pattern.(3)In the experiment,based on the correlation between the gas-phase Euler number and the gas-liquid Reynolds number,the gas-phase Froude number,and the shape factor of the tapered nozzle,a GLCC separation pressure drop calculation model for uniformly characterizing different dual-inlets structures was established.The calculated value of the separation pressure drop calculation model agrees well with the experimental value.This has guiding significance for the subsequent similar enlargement and engineering application of GLCC.
