Research On The Lightning Electromagnetic Effect Of Floating Roof Tank Based On CST Simulation And Lightning Experiment

Lightning strikes occur frequently in the petrochemical industry and cause huge losses every year.Through the investigation,it is found that the emphasis of the research on lightning protection of oil tank is the monitoring of lightning protection grounding system and the improvement of lightning warning system.The research of oil tank thunder science at home and abroad is becoming more and more mature in the field of construction,but it still has a long way to go for the petrochemical industry.The purpose of this paper is to obtain the distribution law of space electromagnetic field in oil tank area caused by lightning,evaluate the impact of lightning on the instrument and signal system in the tank area,and finally put forward effective lightning protection measures for oil tank according to the research results.The research content includes the use of CST electromagnetic simulation software to simulate the spatial electromagnetic field distribution of lightning in the tank area during the lightning strike.The software takes the finite integral technology as the core and provides a very complete time-domain and frequency-domain high-frequency algorithm,which is suitable for the research of electromagnetic compatibility.Analysis of possible failure modes of lightning protective earthing system in tank after effect and cause,the design of artificial triggering lightning experiments to explore and verify the theoretical analysis,artificial triggering lightning experiments by rocket carrying metal wire into the thundercloud,create lightning channel,for thundercloud charge is lightning occurs in the location specified,then the lightning related research.The novelty of this paper is that the experimental form of artificial mine ignition is combined with the simulation,and the obtained data and results are more accurate and authentic.On the basis of relatively complete lightning theory research,it is of great significance for the petrochemical industry to apply artificial lightning technology to the research of lightning protection technology.
