Global climate change attracts the attention of many countries.Greenhouse gas emission reduction is the key control factor.Carbon Capture,Utilization and Storage(CCUS)is an effective GHG control technique for GHG reduction in large scale.The development of CCUS technology needs to be supported,promoted and regulated not only from technique,but also from relevant policies and regulations.At first,this article studies the CCUS environmental management regulations and standards.The research shows that all relevant countries have formulated positive policies for CCUS,and promoted the large scale deployment of CCUS through direct government investment,financial subsidies,and carbon taxes;on the other hand,relevant countries and the public attach great importance to the environmental impact and risks of CCUS itself.By establishing CCUS environmental management regulations and standards,they can manage CCUS environmental risks and guide the safety of CCUS projects.And then,this article analyzes the environmental risk of CCUS.Based on the possible leakage risk points in the process of CO2 flooding and geological storage,an environmental risk analysis model suitable for CCUS projects is established.Based on the research of the CCUS environmental risk analysis project at home and abroad,combined with the established model,the CO2-EOR project of Shengli Oilfield An environmental risk analysis was conducted.The environmental impact of the project depends on the factors with the highest environmental risk.The results show that the highest environmental risk factor for the CO2-EOR project in Shengli Oilfield is the cracks in the cement shaft.Finally,this paper conducted a CCUS environmental risk laboratory assessment.Through CO2 flooding and geological storage experiments,the difference between CO2flooding efficiency and geological storage efficiency under CO2 foam and other injection methods was compared.The results show that:CO2 foam can improve CO2 flooding.The higher the flooding and storage efficiency,the lower the environmental risk.Therefore,the CO2 foam injection method for CO2 flooding and geological storage has a lower environmental risk than the CO2 direct injection method.
