Coal bed methane is an important clean energy.China’s CBM resources are relatively rich,but CBM mining conditions are poor.Therefore,the development of the domestic CBM industry faces several mining engineering technical difficulties.In order to solve the technical difficulties of coalbed methane mining engineering and grasp the development trend of coalbed methane mining engineering technology in China,this paper investigates the current status of coalbed methane development at home and abroad and the status of coalbed methane mining engineering technology.The difficulties of domestic coalbed methane mining technology are analyzed,and the development needs of domestic coalbed methane mining engineering technology are analyzed.At present,the development of domestic coalbed methane mining technology mainly faces difficulties such as poor technical adaptability,low reserves utilization rate,excessive cost of existing drilling and completion technologies,poor overall effect of fracturing,and poor drainage and continuity of conventional rod pump lifting technology..In this paper,according to the current situation and particularity of domestic coalbed methane development,the future development trend of domestic coalbed methane mining technology is proposed.The drilling and completion technology tends to develop the intensive construction model of large wells,integrated geological engineering drilling technology,and horizontal drilling optimization technology.In terms of fracturing technology,the trend is to develop a multi-well linked factory fracturing mode,a multi-lithology collaborative development fracturing mode,and a diversified fracturing fluid system with active water as the main body.In terms of drainage technology,the trend is to develop multi-layer multi-gas combined production technology model,dynamic monitoring technology,and continuous pipe workover technology.According to the requirements of China’s energy structure transformation in the new period and the experience of deep coal development and utilization at home and abroad,it is expected that the underground coal gasification technology with a depth of 800 meters will become a key technology for the development of domestic coal bed methane projects in the next 15 years.The research results of this paper have certain reference value for the development of coalbed methane mining engineering technology in China.
