With the rapid development of the oil and gas industry,rotary steering drilling technology,as an important branch of directional drilling,can effectively increase oil and gas production,reduce drilling costs and risks of drilling operations.Not only the cost and risk is high,but also the test effect is poor,lacking in science.Therefore,in the research process of rotary steering drilling tools,it is necessary to develop a set of special test equipment.Based on the mechanical analysis and research of the steering mechanism of the rotary steering drilling tool,combined with the structural size of the tool itself and the characteristics of the actual working conditions downhole,a set of test device for steering force measurement and calibration was designed.In the structural design of the test device,the mechanical structure design and three-dimensional solid modeling of each part of the test device are carried out by Solidworks software,and the stress of the main components of the test device are analyzed by the ABAQUS finite element software to verify the test device.Whether the structural strength and stiffness meet the design requirements;in the functional design of the test device,by installing the corresponding components and sensors on the device platform,the rotary steering drilling tool with different diameters can be tested in the test environment.The actual working conditions such as downhole rotation,well inclination angle and circulation of drilling fluid,and the size and direction of the thrust force of the steering mechanism are directly measured.The rotary steering drilling tool test device has a reasonable structure and relatively complete functions.It has important significance for verifying the performance indicators of the rotary steering drilling tool and accelerating its development progress.
