Pipelines were regarded as the blood of industrial transportation.When the speed of flow was high,flow and solid particles could cause pipeline leakage and failure due to erosion-corrosion,increasing the risk of pipelines and causing huge economic losses.Therefore,the research on erosion-corrosion in this paper had a great theoretical significance and an engineering value,providing valuable guidance for erosion-corrosion and protection of pipeline materials.X80 pipeline steel was selected as the research object.Erosion-corrosion experiments were performed using a liquid-solid two-phase jet equipment.The erosioncorrosion mechanism of X80 pipeline steel was studied by weight loss method,element determination,surface morphology and electrochemical measurement.The main works were as followed: 1.The behavior of X80 pipeline steel in sandwater two-phase flow was studied.The results showed that the weight loss of X80 pipeline steel decreased with the increase of the impact angle,and positively correlated with the particle concentration.2.The corrosion behaviors of X80 pipeline steel in the solution containing chlorine ions with different p H were studied.The results showed that when X80 pipeline steel interacted with chloride ions in an acidic environment,the surface had the most serious damaged by pitting and the area of pitting was the largest.It was observed that the pitting propagated down first and then from outside to inside.3.Quantitative analysis of the effect of particle concentration,impact angle,p H and chloride ion concentration in the erosion-corrosion experiment.The results showed that when the speed was same,the particle concentration had the greatest effect.And there was a correlation between particle concentration and impact angle,particle concentration and chloride ion concentration.4.Studied the mechanism of synergy in erosion-corrosion.When other factors were same,the larger the impact angle,the more obvious the synergy.Based on the above experimental results,the mechanism of corrosion accelerated erosion and erosion accelerated corrosion were summarized.
