High strength and high conductivity materials have become widely used in aerospace,communication equipment,electrical engineering,railway track and other fields.The continuous development of modern science and technology puts forward the realistic requirements for the higher comprehensive properties of materials.Therefore,it has great practical significance for the research and development of high-strength and high conductivity materials,while the contradiction between strength and conductivity brings greater challenges to the research work.Composite material method is one of the common methods to obtain high strength and high conductivity materials.In this thesis,copper based metallic glass was used as the reinforcement phase,and the two-phase composite materials with good combination were prepared by mechanical alloying and spark plasma sintering,which showed high conductivity and good mechanical properties.In this experiment,the particle size under 150?m was obtained by the atomization method and traditional sieving method.The Cu50Zr43Al7 glass powder with complete amorphous structure is sintered by the discharge plasma sintering technology.The sintering temperature is 420?,sintering pressure is 300 MPa,the holding time is 10 min,the bulk sample obtained has complete amorphous structure and excellent mechanical properties.The effect of milling parameters(milling speed and weight ratio of ball to material)on the microstructure and properties of Cu/Cu50Zr43Al7 composite was investigated.The results show that under the condition of 375 rpm ball milling speed and 12:1 ball to material ratio,the composite with ultrafine grained copper as matrix has excellent mechanical properties,and the compressive strength is as high as 1180 MPa.The effect of the content of metallic glass on the microstructure and properties of the composite was studied.It was found that with the increase of the content of metallic glass,the conductivity of the composite decreased and the strength improved.The effect of sintering pressure on the microstructure and properties of the composite with 30 wt.%Cu50Zr43Al7 metallic glass was further studied.When the sintering pressure was 600 MPa,the composite had excellent comprehensive properties,the compressive strength could reach 928 MPa,and the conductivity could reach about38%IACS.In addition,SEM,TEM and EDS analysis of the two-phase interface of the composite show a good bonding state.
