As an engineering structure, the composite hat-type stiffened panel is more and more popular in the field of space and space. In practical application, buckling instability is the most common failure mode of the structure under compression load. However, after buckling, the hat-type stiffened panels still have very strong post-buckling capacity, and the post-buckling bearing capacity can be reasonably utilized in the design process.Because the failure mechanism of the whole process after buckling is very complex and the basis for judgment cannot be effectively provided in the analysis of failure mechanism, most designers take buckling load as the design load value at present, but the design value is often relatively conservative. Therefore,in the case of structural safety,it is necessary to find a method to predict the post-buckling performance of composite hat-type stiffened panels, and to study the ultimate bearing capacity through tests and finite element methods, with the goal of improving efficiency and reducing weight. In this paper, the finite element software ABAQUS was used to analyze the post-buckling of the selected composite hat-type stiffened panel. The basic model selected was the hat-type stiffened panel, which was composed of skin and bar structure.By building the finite element model of the composite hat-type stiffened panel buckling under axial compression load, the buckling load was calculated. The simulation value, the experimental value and the engineering simplification algorithm were compared and analyzed to verify the effectiveness of the model.Based on Hashin criterion and damage factor, the stiffness degradation model was established to study the failure process and damage analysis of composite stiffened plates under compression load.In the study of the buckling behavior of the composite hat-stiffened panels under axial compression, the buckling load of the composite hat-stiffened panels and the load they can bear after buckling are simulated accurately. Some conclusions are compared with experiments, which proves the validity of the model and experimental analysis. The final analysis results show that the finite element model established in this paper is reasonable and effective, and the error between the model and the experimental data is within a reasonable range, which has a relatively large reference value for the evaluation of the bearing capacity of composite stiffened panels.
