In this paper,a micro five-axis machine tool is developed,and the research on the compensation of the weak rigidity deformation error of the machine tool is carried out aiming to improve the accuracy of the machine tool in a low-cost way.First of all,the overall design of the five axis micro machine tool is carried out.Compared with the advantages and disadvantages of various schemes,the horizontal double turntable structure is selected as the overall scheme to design and process each structure,and the machine tool is developed,which is in size of 580 × 450 × 570.Modal simulation of the machine tool is also carried out,and the deformation law of each vibration mode is analyzed,which provides a reference for the error model.Next,the deformation law of weak stiffness of machine is analyzed,and the model of weak stiffness error is established.The relationship between stress and deformation error is described by self weight flexibility matrix.A optimization method of the stiffness correction matrix is put forward,and the error model is modified and optimized.The simulation are carried out in MATLAB,and the error model diagram of machine is obtained.Then,the control system of the machine tool is designed and built,which is completed by open control system scheme of industrial computer and motion control card.Dedicated software is developed,which not only realizes the basic processing function,but also adds the error compensation module realizing the self-weight error compensation function.Finally,the tool path planning and machining simulation are carried out,and the post-processing module is used to convert the tool position information into machining code.Machining experiments are finished,results show that the machine is capable of aluminum alloy machining,and verify the correctness of machining tool path planning.
