Donghuantuo Coal Mine(Kailuan Group)is located in the syncline of Chezhoushan Mountain,the mining area is contained in the sandstone fissure confined aquifers in the Carboniferous?Permian and the pore confined aquifers in the Quaternary alluvium.The fissures form the main space for groundwater storage and migration,the bedrock fissure aquifer shows obvious features in watery unevenness and irregular connectivity,and the roof-to-floor fissure aquifer rich in high-pressure water often triggers water inrush(burst)problems in mines.A series of researches were conducted on the Central to North 1st mining area of Coal Mine in Kailuan(Group).The fault strike rose diagram was adopted to analyze the development law of the exposed faults,the exposed faults with a drop greater than 5m and the exposed watering faults in the mining area;analyze the fault extrusion or stretching direction;summarize the characteristics of the fault structure combination and its formation mechanism in the Central to North 1st mining area;obtain the water controlling law of the geological structure of Donghuantuo Coal Mine using the relationship between the distribution of geological structures and the runoff direction of groundwater;With the structural fractal grid covering method the fractal dimension value of the working face fault was yielded,which was then used as one of the fourteen predictive indicators,and a prediction model was established and verified for the water inrush amount of the working face.The results show that the exposed faults in the Central to North 1st mining area are featured by multi-strike and multi-group development,and the main advantages of the fault strike are NEE and NW.The faults with a drop greater than 5m and those drenched in water are relatively less in the research area,accounting for 2.6% and 4.8% of the total number of faults,respectively.There are two fault structural belts and an intermediate fault-depression structural combination with cuttings surrounding in the Central to North 1st mining area;Due to the regional tectonic stress field deformation,formation lithology and formation position as well as the effect of folds and faults,a large number of fissures have been formed in the Central to North 1st mining area,sparing a good space for groundwater storage and conduction,and faults and folds have a certain role in water control;Given the recharge and runoff characteristics of structural control,four zones are divided: Zone I is a strong recharge and strong runoff zone;Zone II is a strong recharge and strong runoff area;Zone III is a medium recharge and medium runoff area;Zone IV is a medium recharge and weak runoff area.The size of the structural fractal dimension of the working face is somewhat related to the groundwater recharge and runoff,so the structural fractal value can serve as an index for the establishment of a BP neural network of the water inrush prediction model of the working face and it's verified.Figure 27;Table 14;Reference 57...
