Hydrogenated nitrile rubber(HNBR)has many excellent properties,such as oil resistance,heat resistance,ozone resistance,etc,and can be used in demanding environments,such as the automotive industry,petroleum exploration,and aerospace.With the development of domestic oil exploration technology,more and more deep wells and ultra-deep wells have appeared in oil wells,making deep oil exploration facing challenges such as high water cut and high oil resistance.In order to improve the oil resistance and hydrophobic properties of HNBR,this paper starts from physical blending modification and chemical grafting modification to study the oil resistance and hydrophobic properties of HNBR.The main work is as follows:1.The polyfluoroacrylate with high molecular weight and high yield was successfully prepared by emulsion polymerization,and the influence of molecular weight and structure on the properties of polyfluoroacrylate was studied.The results show that polyfluoroacrylate has better heat resistance.The crystallization of polyhexafluorobutyl acrylate is more obvious with the increase of molecular weight,and the crystallization of polytridecafluorooctyl acrylate is the most obvious.The water contact angle of polyhexafluorobutyl acrylate can reach up to 124°,and the lowest Tg can reach-11.5?.2.The HNBR/polyfluoroacrylate blended vulcanizate was prepared by physical blending,and the properties of the vulcanizate were studied.Results show that the vulcanizate retains the low temperature resistance of HNBR,and improves the oil resistance and hydrophobic properties of HNBR,but the tensile properties decrease with the increase of the amount of polyfluoroacrylate.Comparing the effects of different polyfluoroacrylates on the properties of vulcanizates,polytrifluoroethyl acrylate has the best improvement effect on the properties of HNBR.3.The hydrogenated HNBR/trifluoroethyl acrylate graft copolymer was prepared by free radical grafting and solution hydrogenation,and the successful grafting of trifluoroethyl acrylate onto HNBR was proved by 1H-NMR,FTIR and GPC.The grafting rate can reach up to 14.0%.The degree of hydrogenation of the grafted product after hydrogenation can reach more than 94%.The vulcanizate not only has better tensile properties and low temperature resistance,but also has significantly improved oil resistance and hydrophobic properties.
