For the reservoir with high permeability and loose cementation,the formation generally produces sand in the actual exploitation process,and the erosion of sandbearing fluid causes erosion wear of downhole equipment and surface equipment,which leads to hidden trouble in oilfield production.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to study the erosion mechanism and life prediction of metal screen for oilfield safety production.In this paper,on the basis of domestic and foreign existing research erosion model,based on the 8 groups of erosion wear experiments under different working conditions,through measuring mass loss of mental screen under different factor and putting forward erosion prediction model,using electron microscope scanner and optical microscope to explore erosion wear mechanism of the single metal screen.At the same time,ANSYS software is used analyzes the erosion distribution characteristics of different factors and the change of flow field.Furthermore,the reliability of the erosion prediction model was verified by comparing the data of literatures.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The most serious erosion area of the single-layer metal mesh is the interlace of warp and weft and the upper weft.After erosion,the mesh samples are subjected to different degrees of pitting corrosion,ploughing and cutting wear,and the mesh wear is local wear.(2)When the liquid velocity of single-layer metal screen is 0.5-20 m /s,the erosion rate of screen increases with the increase of liquid velocity;When the erosion solution concentration is 0.3%?10%,the erosion velocity increases firstly and then decreases,and the critical concentration is 5%.When the impact angle is 15°?90°,the erosion rate of the screen increases with the increase of the angle.(3)During the erosion time of 0 ? 45 h,the high velocity and high pressure areas on the surface of the whole screen appear around the Interlace of warp and weft and the gap between the screen holes.With the increase of erosion time,the pressure and velocity on the screen surface did not change significantly.The results show that the erosion wear of the screen is small 15 hours before the erosion,and the surface of the screen is seriously eroded from 20 hours,and the erosion wear first occurs at the Interlace of warp and weft;(4)Through the analysis of the experimental data,the life prediction model suitable for single-layer screen was fitted by using 1st Opt15 PRO.The model is applied to numerical simulation and compared with experimental data,and the error is less than 15%.The mathematical model was applied to the numerical simulation under the same working condition by introducing the experimental data from the literature.The maximum error was 9% by comparing the results from the literature and the mathematical model.
