Complex calcium sulfonate grease is a new type of grease,which has strong performance and applicability.The complex calcium sulfonate grease with non-Newtonian fluid characteristics has excellent performance and brings a wide range of application prospects,while China's research on the production process of sulfonate complex calcium grease started late and the research results are relatively underdeveloped,the quality of domestic products is relatively poor and the cost is relatively high,and there are often cases of hard surface cracking and oil separation in the process of grease using.Therefore,at this stage,the research on the production process of complex calcium sulfonate grease and the search for a reasonable process of industrial production is an important subject.The purpose of this paper is to select the appropriate raw materials and equipment through the study of the whole production reaction process,raw materials sourcing,market price,equipment and grease performance,production process and safety.And after the pilot test to simulate the whole production process,using different production equipment and process conditions,prepared samples under different conditions to compare the comprehensive performance.The final comparison of the results showed that the pressure reactor with double stirring had better application performance and more economical than the conventional single rod stirred reactor.In this paper,a variety of experimental combinations were used for screening,using high alkali value calcium sulfonate from Newtonian fluid and base oil from Newtonian fluid as the basic raw materials,and methanol,glacial acetic acid and dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid as the main converting agents,which were converted to non-Newtonian fluid calcium sulfonate soap by controlling the temperature and pressure.And using saponification reaction in the subsequent production,the main raw materials are calcium borate,calcium hydroxide and dodecyl stearate,which can be further reacted to produce complex calcium sulfonate grease with excellent industrial performance.According to the experimental screening in this paper,it is more suitable to use pressure reactor to product complex calcium sulfonate grease.According to a variety of experimental combinations in this paper,the amount of high alkali value calcium sulfonate salt is controlled in the range of 15-20%,the amount of borate is controlled in the range of 2-5%,the amount of dodecylbenzene sulfonic acid is controlled in the range of 2-4%,the content of 12hydroxystearic acid is controlled in the range of 1-4%,the amount of glacial acetic acid is controlled in the range of 0.2-1.5%,and the pressure of the production process is controlled at 0.2-0.45 Mpa,and the reaction temperature is maintained at 195±5?,we can obtain complex calcium sulfonate grease with excellent high and low temperature performance with drop point higher than 300 ?,and the obtained products are tested to fully meet the national standard of compound calcium base grease.At the same time,we can control the cost at 20-23 RMB/kg,which has obvious economic superiority.The final discussion of this paper is the economic analysis of complex calcium sulfonate grease project,the initial design of capacity is 1000 tons per year of complex calcium sulfonate grease project.Finally,the economic feasibility analysis results show that the project designed in this paper has low investment cost and high profit in the initial stage,and has a better market prospect and economic value compared with the current mainstream production process.
