Research On Application Of Virtual Reality Technology In Packaging Design Process Of Wine Container

With the progress of science and technology,social and economic development,wine enterprises are increasingly aware of the importance of container packaging design,design is the core advantage of enterprises to gain benefits.CAD-type software to assist wine container packaging design,the current way has not been able to meet consumer demand for wine container packaging perceptualization.Virtual reality technology can bring consumers and designers and companies closer together.Through virtual reality technology,consumers can participate in the design and make the company's wine container packaging meet consumer expectations as closely as possible.Firstly,the history of wine container packaging and the evolution of wine culture are analysed.The general process of modern wine container packaging design is described in broad terms.This design process allows for very quick product solutions in the preliminary design phase,but the products designed in this way are entirely dependent on the subjective judgement of the designer and the company's decision-maker and do not fully meet the needs of the consumer.Secondly,through research into virtual reality technology,it has been found that virtual sensual engineering based on virtual experiences can enable consumers to experience products in advance of their production as physical entities.The introduction of virtual reality into the wine container packaging design process can improve this subjective design decision.Virtual reality has already been introduced to aid design in the automotive,real estate,aerospace and mechanical engineering sectors.Therefore,it is feasible to apply virtual reality to the design of wine containers.Finally,through practical cases,the 3D modelling of wine container packaging in virtual space was realised using Create VR,and the virtual experience platform for wine container packaging design solutions was realised using Unreal Engine,which actually verified that the design process based on virtual reality technology in wine container packaging is feasible.The design process based on virtual reality technology can accelerate the research and development cycle,save costs and gain more practical benefits from the enterprise's perspective.From the consumer's point of view,it allows consumers to participate in the design,making the product more in line with consumer needs in terms of functionality,aesthetics and cultural taste.With the progress of software and hardware technology,the design of wine container packaging will have more imagination.The proposed design process based on virtual reality technology provides new innovative creative ideas and certain reference values for wine container packaging design.
