With the continuous progress of modern life,textile products not just to meet people's daily life.Functional textile materials,such as photochromic,fluorescent,antibacterial and UV resistant textiles,have gradually become the focus of people's attention.At the same time,with the development of economy,consumers pay more and more attention to the fashion and beauty of clothes,and the textile industry has also increased the development of high value-added textile materials.Therefore,the development of new textile functional materials has become the focus of our research work.As a functional material with mature synthesis process and mechanism,Schiff base for textile still has broad development prospects.In this paper,the self-made Schiff base materials are applied to textiles by printing,coating and high temperature and high press dyeing,and the possibility of their application in textiles is explored which provides a reference for the further development of this kind of materials in textiles.Using salicylaldehyde,1,6-hexanediamine and o-phenylenediamine as raw materials,two kinds of Schiff base fluorescent compounds salicylaldehyde hexanediamine Schiff base(SSB1)and salicylaldehyde o-phenylenediamine Schiff base(SSB2)were synthesized.The structures of SSB1 and SSB2 were characterized by 1HNMR,Fourier infrared and UV absorption spectra.Under the condition of ethanol reflux reaction for 2h,the yields of SSB1and ssb2 were 88.8%and 86.0%respectively.The compound existed in the form of large-size crystalline compound,and the particle size of SSB1 crystal was 10?20?m.The particle size of SSB2 is 1000?m,the relative maximum fluorescence intensities are 8305 and 5444,the phase transition temperatures are 75 and 165?,and the UV spectra of SSB1 and SSB2 have strong absorption peaks at 314 nm and 334 nm,respectively.The compound SSB2,which is more suitable for printing,was made into printing slurry with different mass fractions of fluorescent dyes to print cotton fabric.The fluorescence properties,color properties and color fastness of SSB2 fluorescent printed cotton fabric were investigated.The soaping fastness of SSB2 fluorescent cotton printed fabric is up to grade 4.When the mass fraction of SSB2fluorescent dye is 10%,the best color depth,fluorescence intensity and fluorescence reflectivity are achieved.When the excitation light source voltage is 250V,the relative fluorescence intensity of SSB2 fluorescent printed cotton fabric is about 175 and the fluorescence reflectivity is 3.92%,Compared with the fluorescence reflectance of dispersed and acid fluorescent dyes on the market,it is found that the fluorescence performance of 10%SSB2 fluorescent printed cotton fabric is slightly better than that of dispersed fluorescent yellow and dispersed fluorescent red,but far worse than that of acid fluorescent yellow.Therefore,the use of this dye has a certain market competitiveness in fluorescence performance.A modified chitosan coated cotton fabric with antibacterial and UV resistance was prepared by a simple layer-by-layer impregnation deposition method.Through the grafting reaction of titanium dioxide modified by silane coupling agent KH560 with chitosan and the Schiff base reaction of salicylaldehyde with chitosan,the antibacterial property of chitosan was improved and the UV resistance of chitosan was given.The prepared modified chitosan coated cotton fabric has significant growth inhibition effect on Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.When the weight gain rate of SCSB-Ti O2impregnated cotton fabric is 8%,The growth inhibition rates of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli were 98.98%and95.5%respectively.At the same time,the UPF value of the prepared UV resistant cotton fabric can reach 110.86,After 25 times of soaping,the UPF value can still be maintained at82.09,which has good water washing fastness.What is more,SCSB-Ti O2did enhance the tensile strength of cotton fabric,and the breaking strength of cotton fabric impregnated by SCSB-Ti O2increased by 14.49%,the breaking tensile strength can reach 648.82 N.The impregnated coated cotton fabric treated with modified chitosan also has a certain hydrophobic effect.The contact angle of SCSB-Ti O2/cotton can reach 123.25°.Compared with the original cotton fabric,the air permeability of impregnated cotton fabric is only reduced by 9.4%.Due to the simple treatment process of modified chitosan coated fabric and the synthesis of non-toxic chemicals,it has a good application prospect in the field of functional textiles.A small molecule Schiff base compound CSHA with photochromic and fluorescent properties was synthesized from 5-chlorosalicylaldehyde and dihydrazide carbonate.The structure of synthesized compounds was characterized by IR and UV which certificated that the chemical structure of synthesized compound showed no difference with the theoretical structure of CSHA.The reaction time under the optimum yield was discussed,the thermal stability of and discoloration sensitivity of CSHA was tested.The yield of CSHA under ethanol reflux was 83%,the phase transition temperature was 172?,the dyeing of CSHA changed from white to yellow under UV irradiation,and the complete discoloration time under UV irradiation was 25s,and the complete discoloration time under visible light was1560s.Nano disperse dyes were prepared by mortar grinding,ultrasonic and homogenization of CSHA compounds.The corresponding CSHA photochromic polyester fabrics were prepared by high temperature and high press method.The particle size of CSHA disperse dyes,color difference and dye uptake,fluorescence properties,UV resistance and color fastness of CSHA photochromic polyester fabrics were investigated.The particle size of CSHA disperse dye can reach about 300 nm.The color of polyester fabric dyed by CSHA is yellow,and the maximum color difference can reach 19.45.In addition,the dyeing of CSHA has little effect on the thermal decomposition temperature of polyester fabric,but slightly increases the weight loss rate in the combustion process of polyester fabric.Under the excitation of 365nm UV light source with 400V voltage,the fluorescence emission wavelength is 562nm,and the relative maximum fluorescence intensity can reach 5213.At the same time,CSHA polyester fabric also has UV resistance,with the maximum fluorescence reflectivity of 8.46%and the maximum UPF value of 68.5.The soaping fastness of CSHA polyester fabrics is above grade4 and the rubbing fastness is above grade 3.There is little difference between dry rubbing fastness and wet rubbing fastness.The sun fastness of CSHA dyes is general,and the average fastness is about grade 4.However,the sublimation fastness of CSHA polyester fabric is poor.
