Research On The Application Of Wenzhou Jiaxie In The Design Of Modern Home Textiles

Wenzhou Jiaxie is a local traditional printing and dyeing process in Wenzhou,Zhejiang Province,China.In the process of development,it has gradually evolved from color Jiaxie to monochrome blue Jiaxie.Jiaxie began in the Sui Dynasty and flourished in the Tang and Song dynasties.In the Sui and Tang Dynasties,this complex printing and dyeing process began to prevail,which was widely spread in southern Zhejiang,especially in Wenzhou.Wenzhou Jiaxie is a typical representative of Wenzhou printing and dyeing handicraft,which is distributed in Cangnan,Yueqing,Ruian and other places.This traditional anti dyeing handicraft is the embodiment of traditional craftsmanship.Wenzhou Jiaxie has a unique style,the patterns are interesting after abstract expression,and the pattern composition features are obvious;This traditional printing and dyeing process not only contains regional characteristics,but also contains farreaching cultural connotation,which is closely related to the geographical environment,social economy,cultural customs and religious beliefs of Wenzhou.This paper makes a preliminary analysis of the application of Wenzhou Jiaxie in modern household textiles.The purpose is to combine the traditional Jiaxie technology with modern aesthetic needs,carry forward Wenzhou Jiaxie culture,and innovate the artistic forms of Wenzhou Jiaxie.In the first chapter of this paper,the geographical location,social economy,cultural customs and religious beliefs that affect the formation and development of Jiaxie in Wenzhou are described,and the general situation of Jiaxie technology is introduced;Secondly,the second chapter analyzes and summarizes the traditional Wenzhou Jiaxie craft from the aspects of form aesthetic feeling,artistic value and humanistic connotation,so as to prepare for innovative design;Then the third chapter analyzes the application status of Wenzhou Jiaxie in the design of home textiles,and combined with the development trend of modern textile design,puts forward the application ways and methods of Wenzhou Jiaxie in the design of home textiles;In the last four chapters,Wenzhou jiavalerian pattern is designed by hand,and innovation is made in pattern,material and color matching,and jiavalerian brand series of home textiles are designed creatively,which provides a certain reference for the development of home textiles design ideas.The purpose of this paper is to combine the traditional Wenzhou Jiaxie craft with modern home textiles,use the elements of folk arts and crafts to infiltrate into the present life and design,inherit and innovate the traditional Chinese printing and dyeing culture,so as to make Wenzhou Jiaxie,an intangible cultural heritage,get people's attention again and carry out innovative development.
