The degradation of pesticide residues of pesticide wastewater and fruits and vegetables is significant to human health and daily life. Therefore, while trying to reduce the toxicity of pesticides, people are also trying to develop effective degradation methods.Metastable amorphous alloy is considered as an ideal material for catalyst and dealloying precursors because of its high surface atomic energy state, high activity and corrosion resistance. It plays an important role in the degradation of pesticide wastewater. In this paper, dealloyed ribbons with nanoporous structure were successfully prepared based on Mg65Cu25-xAgxY10(x=0,5,10)ribbons embedded with some crystals phase on the amorphous matrix(or simplified as Agxas-spun ribbons). The degradation efficiency of cis-cypermethrin pesticide wastewater by Agxas-spun ribbons and dealloyed ribbons was studied by reduction method and the main results are as follow:In the as-spun ribbons, with the increase of Ag addition, the degradation efficiency of pesticide wastewater decreases. Each ribbon corresponds to a different optimal degradation water treatment process. The maximum degradation efficiency of Ag0was 77.4%under the optimal conditions of p H=9,initial pesticide concentration of 600 mg/L,and the ribbons addition of 1.33 g/L.However,the degradation efficiency of Ag10amorphous ribbons is lower than that of Ag10as-spun ribbons. In the Agxdealloyed ribbons, with the increasing of Ag addition, the nanopores and the degradation efficiency of pesticide increase. The results showed that the maximum degradation efficiency of Ag10dealloyed ribbons was 95.8%when p H=3,initial pesticide concentration was 500 mg/L and the ribbons addition was 1.33 g/L.The degradation of pesticide wastewater by amorphous ribbons and dealloyed ribbons mainly includes two processes. One is adsorption, and the other one is catalytic reaction.Adsorption is the adsorption of pesticide molecules to the active sites of the ribbons, and the catalytic reaction includes direct catalytic reaction, hydrogen evolution, reduction and the effect of galvanic cell.
