Microwave heating technology h as unique advantages such as high efficiency,energy saving,environmental protection,and selective heating,which makes it widely used in industrial and agricultural production and livelihood.At the same time,due to its selective heating characteristics,the thermal behavior of different heating loads in the microwave sintering process is also quite different,which in turn affects the heating efficiency and heating uniformity of the load.In order to explore the influencing factors of the difference in load thermal behavior,improve the heating efficiency and heating uniformity of the load.In this paper,the metal bond diamond grinding wheel segment is the research object,and the microwave heating process of the grinding wheel segment is researched an d analyzed by COMSOL simulation software.The main research works are listed below:(1)The finite element model of microwave heating furnace and grinding wheel segment was established.the microwave sintering process of the grinding wheel segment was simulated,in which the control variable method was used to adjust the heating power,microwave frequency,segment size,sintering position and sintering plane and other parameters The distribution and value of the electric field in the microwave oven,sintering time,and the heating uniformity of grinding wheel segment were compared and analyzed,thus,the influence relationship between the sintering process factors and the thermal behavio r of the grinding wheel segment is obtained.(2)Three factor and four level orthogonal experiments were designed for the heating power,microwave frequency,and segment size,combined with the range analysis method to analyze the two indicators o f sintering time and heating uniformity to obtain the primary and secondary order of each factor and the optimal parameter value.Through comprehensive evaluation of the degree of influence of process parameters on various indicators,the optimal process parameters are obtained as the heating power is 1000 W,the microwave frequency is 2.45 GHz or 2.50 GHz,and the thickness of the grinding wheel is 9m.(3)Based on the evaluation method of heating uniformity,the COMSOL simulation software is used to optimize the layout,placement and rotation angle of the microwave launching feed opening.The research results show that the grinding wheel segment is sintered in the optimized microwave heating furnace.The heating efficiency is increased by 27.3%,and the heating uniformity is increased by 6.8%.(4)Using the process parameters such as the heating power of the microwave oven and the size of the grinding wheel segment to conduct verification tests,the heating characteristics of the grinding wheel segment are obtained,and the simulation results are compared to verify the change law of th e heating characteristics of the grinding wheel segment with the change of the process parameters.
